AoE 1d6 fire damage, yes?

Blistering flourish doesn't actually deal damage, so you can't make it do additional damage.

Isn't there precedent in the FAQ with other things adding damage in such a manner?

I think it would work that way, yeah. Which makes Blistering Flourish almost not useless. :smallamused:

Except it is only going to be dealing 1d6 fire damage, which means it is soon (if not immediately) outclassed by... anything.

Sure! 1d6 fire damage AoE. Congrats. You spent a good feat and a good maneuver slot to do a crappy mini-fireball that doesn't scale. I hope you're proud. :smalltongue:

Well yeah, it doesn't scale at all. But at level 1, a not-quite-at-will AoE attack isn't bad. Swap out Blistering Flourish for something else later. And note that I said almost not useless. :smalltongue:

It's an E6 game starting at level 1, and I am -bored- by Adaptive Style, screw usefulness. :P My DM didn't share sentiments, however. Ended up going Sand Dancer from Sandstorm instead, that... really pairs amazingly with maneuvers.
