View Full Version : I hunger!

I found a list of things that created when I was a little kid of random things I wanted to. Sadly since I was very young when I wrote it, it was written in my horrible young Orzel handwriting. But I could make out 3 things.

1) Take a bath in orange juice.
2) Spot a wolf, coyote, or other large furry non-dog but similar to a dog animal in the wild.
3) Eat three times as many meats as my age.

I did 1 and 2 already.
But 3! I'm 26. That's a lot.
But I'm not quiting on Young Me.

So start naming things that taste, look, smell, or even have the same texture of an edible animal.
Don't get to "icky".

You once took a bath in orange juice?

See I always wanted to swim in a pool of OJ. But that's way too expensive.

Of course. I got 78 things to eat. I'm not being picky. Except for people and maybe horses.

Technically, a dog is a wolf...

Technically, your list doesn't specify a timeframe. So really, you've already met the third and last condition unless you converted to vegetarianism immediately after writing that list.

I tried that but Young Me said to "Stop being smart and eat some ants."
Young Me is a meanie.

I'm gonna reboot on seafood as I almost never question the type of fish I ate and have terrible memory of fish taste anyway.
Now to find walrus.

Some kind of small shellfish would probably be best. Or find a sack of spider eggs and eat that. Small, but lots of animasls. Disgusting though.

Not even close. I actually wasn't even browsing Friendly Banter - I was heading to Media. But I saw this thread in the "latest post" notice and went "Sinistar references? Let's see what it is!".

I was a bit dissapointed, to be honest . Still, this is a most noble endeavour and I wish youluck, OP. And digestive salts. You're probably going to need those more than the luck :smalltongue:.

No.

Actually, I find that it's six thousand times more hilarious if you imagine von Karma (http://www.court-records.net/animation/karma-deskslam.gif) making that noise.

3) Eat three times as many meats as my age.

Buy a hotdog sausage from the store, then cook it and eat it.

That's about a 100 different meats right there. (:smalltongue:)

Do different version of the meat count? Beef is cow, yes. But hamburger, steak, briscut, roast, lasagna, spaghetti, tacos, and other foods are all different meals and have different tastes, meat wise.

Hamburger and steak should at least count as two seperate things. :smallconfused:

Go to Hawaii. They have like... 200 different types of fish.

The coolest being the humuhumunukunukuapua'a. Which, amazingly, is a real fish.

Yes, its a common and popular meal in Louisiana. I've never had it myself, but my father and brother enjoyed it during our last trip to New Orleans. Apparently, its very much akin to chicken...

Gator, I mean. Crocociles are a protected species in America - yes, there are Crocs in America. My local newspaper once had an article on it, saying that there are about 100 Crocodiles in the Mississippi River and on the coast, and that they're a highly protected species. Whereas you can get Gator permits during the summer when their numbers get too high and they start eating pets. :smalleek:

Porcupine isn't bad. I speak from experience.

You could eat different types of deer... white tail, mule, sitka... they'd all count!

I think moose and caribou have been mentioned already. I had a caribou steak last night, tasty!

Grouse, ptarmigan, quail, chukkar, other upland bird. Yum-yum!
