Hey fellow Playgrounders
I'm putting together the music for my new campaign but i can't find a peace of music that matches.
The character in question is a Kenku Assassin/Shadowdancer/Shadowcaster kind of person. He works for the military.
Does anyone have suggestions ?

To flashy and hard. I was looking for something that is not so "in your face"ish

Batman begins theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DZt0LYoOXo) takes a little while to start, but suits your character,s theme.

"Unforgiven 2" could work. Kinda broody, and some of the lyrics could apply.

There are some music pieces, that feel right for a proper villain entrance. For example the theme of Red Priest Rezo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHknrvQlEB8) from Slayers is quite fitting, or this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aO9DTaHPpp8&feature=related) substantially more sinister piece - they both could be used for the same character, since there is a similarity between them, which gives the opportunity to differentiate the mood of subsequent encounters with the same NPC.
Another theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVRN-l_p8o0&feature=related) for a more elusive character. Actually this Bleach movie had a lot more musical gems in it: 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00ywMXbBgpc&feature=related), 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0qISenfR6M&feature=related), 3 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ExwrcqQzxo).

I think a subtle theme would be optimal. Lux Aerterna or maybe Duel of the Fates would be worthwhile

I would suggest something from Metallica's S&M album, such as For whom the Bell Tolls (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_7r6eALGyg&feature=related), or Enter Sandman (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OVVS5ABKlw&feature=related), or No Leaf Clover (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlhmigaacJc).

Holy Orders, Ky Kiske's theme from Guilty Gear (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8IEP2pILBU&feature=related)
Lust Sin, Jin Kisaragi's theme from BlazBlue (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yy2GbTX2aeo&feature=related)
Rebellion, Ragna's theme from BlazBlue (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ91YNM-Lq4&feature=related)
I think Ky's theme works best though.
Here's a version of Holy Orders without the violin covering. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H03L1SOSk8M)

Scary? Stealthy? Assassin? Agent 47 to the rescue! Without a doubt the most epic, threatening song from the entire series, and it sounds like something from Assassin's Creed amped up to 11.
Apocalypse from Hitman Blood Money (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FU3t5Xr-Tvc). Only for those who like Ominous Latin Chanting, mind.
Alternatively, if you want something less overt, why not try Secret Invasion, from the same game. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMppeOBZVLQ&feature=related)It's an endless downward spiral of awesome.
Hope that helps.

Subtle =! Duel of the Fates, unless we're not talking about a Galaxy Far Far Away here. :smalltongue:
