While using this item, all damage taken are channeled into the two nearest living creatures that fail a DC 32 fortitude save. When a creature dies or saves from this effect, a new one is targeted. Creatures that have touched the artifact can not be targeted by this negative effect for 24 hours. If there are no living creatures with at least 1/4CR that can be targeted within 285', the item has no effect.

I presumed this artifact was made by Boccob, and used his Cha score for creating the item. I treated the effect as a 10th level spell. 5' radius/lvl+ divine rank.


Anyone has anything to add?

I would call this a major artifact, just considering how great it is in Warehouse 13.

I'm not sure that diverting all damage taken is something that is possible with spellcasting, it's almost like share pain and shield other or something.

This seems almost an epic-level effect, which is why I would make it an artifact. But that's just me.
