I can't find any 3.5 material that uses it.

Players Guide to Faerun (page 120)

Moderate transmutation, CL 6th, craft Magic Arms & Armour, align weapon, Price +1 bonus.

It overcomes DR as if it were Lawful, Chaotic, Good, Evil- whichever is most appropriate for the foe.

There was another in 3.0 that could change the material of the weapon, so from adamantine to silver to cold iron an so on. Is there a 3.5 version of that too?

Metalline is in the Magic Item Compendium (+2 bonus)

It was a +1 bonus in the very early 3.5 book Underdark- but was a bit too good at that cost apparently.

Only does Adamantine, Cold Iron, and Alchemical Silver though.

There's also Shadow Striking in Tome of Magic- which does both- emulates any alignment and/or substance (+3 bonus).

Which makes it slightly better than a Sure Striking Metalline weapon for the same price- since it can do odd substances like jade (Oriental Adventures) or Byshek (Eberron).
