I'm looking for a way to help round out a new game I'm about to start.
It's level 1, 32 pt-buy, DMG/PHB only. The SRD may be allowed, but I'm not sure yet.
We've got a Monk dedicated to tripping/grappling, an archery-focused ranger, a rogue (presumably a skill-focused one), a cleric, a fighter, and a sorcerer.
I will be joining this campaign soon and would like to help round out the party without being either under- or overpowered. I was thinking something like Saph's Horizon Tripper build (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80415), or a bard/rogue specializing in unusual skills (kind of a kitchen sink type character). I really wish I could run a Haberdash (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5266526)-type character, but Factotum and MoM are no-goes.
Any advice?
