the air elementalīs fly speed is (ex) o (su)?
the srd says:

Flight (Ex or Su)

A creature with this ability can cease or resume flight as a free action. If the ability is supernatural, it becomes ineffective in an antimagic field, and the creature loses its ability to fly for as long as the antimagic effect persists.

and

Creatures may have modes of movement other than walking and running. These are natural, not magical, unless specifically noted in a monster description.

in the elementalīs entry there is no exception, so it shold be (ex). however, i canīt find any monster in the srd that has Fly (su) (i just had find flying spell-like abilities and spells specifically noted)

its really an (ex) ability? there is some creature with fly (su) im missing?

It will say SU unless it is Extraordinary.
SU will be the exception and noted as such Supernatural.

Air Elemetentals gain their fly speed by virtue of the [Air] subtype. It should be (Ex).

I do believe Beholder's are Su flight, IIRC.

Rasts (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/rast.htm) and ravids (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/ravid.htm) have supernatural flight.

I'm curious whether anyone remembers what those are, and which is which, without clicking the links.

I know the Rast is the red one with the multiple legs as I used them some time ago against the PC's. I can honestly say that I have never thrown a Ravid out on the table, maybe this week...

It's not marked as such. Additionally, Lords of Madness states that they are naturally buoyant.
