[[Hello Gents and Ladies! Remember from the rules, you get two acts per turn, and these acts are used to create your realms, creatures, artifacts, and.. anything!

Please post your flavor like this, and your acts like this for ease of reading. You can also color your talking some color that you think represents your god/creature of yours that your talking for.

OOC Thread here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=155370), and Wiki is here (http://godhood-book.wikispaces.com/)[/S]

And now (drumroll please!), the enterence text. If you don't want to read it, Summary at the bottom:]]

Vamor shot between the planets and stars, shouting with rage. It was burning! All of it was burning! He saw a planet careen into another one, setting of an earsplitting explosion of sound, light and fire, which was barely noticed by the armies warring on the nearby planets. His armada of voidships were fighting with another armada, discarded hunks of metal careening down into the atmospheres of Agiet, his home.

He saw ten large enemy frigates bearing down on him, bearing their cannons and ready to shoot him. He had almost done it, he had almost conquered the entire universe! But no, it was not to be. They closed down on him, with their godly commander staring at him from the deck of one. God of war my omnipresent ass, more like god of death. "You shall be destroyed for what you did to my people! You hear me?! DESTROYED!!" Shouted the angry god from his vantage point. It would end here, for vamor atleast. His plan failed, his armies shattered, his power low, he was hopeless. "Ill show you!" thought vamor, "I may be going down, but you must come down with me! I will not fade as a passing idol! I will not DIE!!" And with that thought, in a fit of rage, Vamor concetrated all his will as a god, burning out his energies. He took his axe, and ripped a hole in the void, strait to the ether, the place where godly power comes from. First his rip was small, but it grew bigger, and bigger, and- BOOM..

He could only look as the universe was sucked into itself, creating a large ball of light at the center. Eons of work flowed past him, all the warring stopped as their bodies-everything, actually- was obliterated by the power. Vamor just closed his eyes, waiting to be sucked into the ether as well, to be destroyed by his foolish mistake. All the deaths, he could hear the souls calling out to him, since the god of death was already dead. Oh, where did it all go so wrong? Probably at the "Take him down with me" stage. He then heard a smaller "Boom", and all was quiet. All was tranquil. Strange.

He opened his eyes, only to be greeted by an empty void. Completely empty, no creatures, no planets, no gods. Huh. So this is where gods go when they die. But wait, there was two things here. First, at the center there was a large -huge- sun, glowing with the power of all the souls that had been sucked in, and second, there was faces in the sun. Upon closer inspection, he realized they were gods. But not the gods he knew, but new gods. Huh. So he wasn't dead. He realized that he was powerless though, having used his power to destroy the universe. He couldn't shape the universe to his will.. what was the point of being a god?! But a new idea struck him, which he smiled to. He would let these gods shape the universe, and maybe eventually he would be able to join them!

With a crash of his axe, he cut open the surface of the sun for a moment, giving the gods enough time to enter. He then floats off, thinking a nap would be a good idea to "Recharge the ole' batteries", as that annoying old trickster god used to say. But really, a nap would be good...

Summary:
You are in a empty fiery red room, a waiting room of sorts. Suddenly a temporary rip opens in the wall. Outside, there is a completely empty void, with only a large sun which you are currently in. You remember nothing of anything (certain exceptions), roleplay your entrance, and...

Now I beseech thee, Post!

Azrathar
The small (compared to the other Deities) semi-ball of smoke and shadows disperses and collects itself a few times, before exiting the Sun. The head of Azrathar pokes out from the shadows and glances around.
"What a great deal of.. Potential." He says thoughtfully, before letting out a large cough. He then turns to the other entities within the sun. "I think introductions are in order. My taken name is Azrathar. Don't let the appearance fool you, I am a lovely thing. Azrathar smiles, showing off his blackened teeth.

The firey mage looks up from his tome, almost as if annoyed and looks around for a moment before stepping out into the void. The bottom of his robe flickered and wavered, alive with a swarm of small blazing arachnids, burning even in this empty void.

Oh my, how utterly... borring. No no this won't do at all. After all are we gods or meerly window dressing for a great ebon shroud? My name is Pyric, weaver of flame, and as I suppose it is up to us to decorate this empty existance I shall make the first move.

Pyric raises his right hand, a small swarm of spiders flying out from his sleeve to form into a small planet orbiting the sun, a planet of fire and flame, oceans of motlen stone and metal, great geysers of lava errupting from it's surface.

Bertholeum
Suddenly a god manifested where the others thought they were none. Something bumped into Azrathar and Pyric, but when they looked, there was merely more void. Did their eyes deceive them? Whatever the case, they both sensed an odd presence nearby. And then they heard...hooves?

"Terribly sorry! I got so scared there for a minute! I couldn't control myself. Being shot out of a big, flaming ball of...fire, that's disturbing! Oh. You made some more...flamey stuff. That's...nice, I guess. All colorful and going BOOM! That's hot. Hehehe! Hmm...My stomach is growling. I would kill to have some eggs - isn't it the right temperature to boil eggs? But, what are eggs, exactly? How odd. I'm hungry for something that doesn't even exist yet!

But where are my manners? Probably where I last left them...but that's beside the point! My name is Bertholeum the Seeker, and I am the fastest thing in existence which, I guess, is not terribly useful when there's nowhere to go and no one to race with."

Silunus
A beam of silver light flies out of the sun. It turns into a... well, a person. His face seems to be changing very quickly, and his clothes are also being protean. When he speaks, it is with ten thousand different voices:
Hello, all. I think my name is Silunus, but I'm feeling rather... empty. Let's change that.
Rolling his hands in front of him, a gray ball of light forms. He pushes it, and it expands, becoming Eselen. It slowly begins to orbit the star.
I think this is called Eselen. I'll watch after it.
Silunus' face seems to slow down until it is a single face, that of a young man with flowing silver hair, and gray knowing eyes.

Bertholeum
The joyful god circled the new celestial body several times, which took about a mere second. The others saw only a dark, shapeless blur.

"Oh I like that! It's shiny, but cold to the touch. Is that an "egg"? Do you think I can have a bite?"

Jokasti
2010-06-08, 02:36 AM
Silunus
No, this is Eselen. I don't want you to bite what's mine. Would you like it if I ate your speed?
Silunus laughs.
If you want eggs, I suggest you make them. We are gods.
I think I would like something else to watch over...
He places both hands on Eselen. His eyes display beams of silver light that go to infinity (and beyond!). From the surface of the moon rise small... things. Humans.
I like to get things done.

Azrathar

"That is.. Impressive, Silunus." The gaseous face stares at the newly created moon. "It is a great fond of inspiration. I believe I will try the same."

Watching the moon closely, Azrathar creates a similar sphere of the same size, only dark and featureless. It begins to orbit the molten planet as well.
Azrathar orbits the newly creatures sphere a few times before returning to the others. He adresses Silunus. "See it as a tribute, of sorts, to your creation. Now, what should it be called? The Shado.. No.. The Shade.. No.. The Deat.. No.. I have it - Limbo."
Afterwards, Azrathar floats back to the newly created moon of Limbo, and starts expanding his energies over it again. As with Silunus' Humans, life spring forth from the planet's crust, only it is not Human but something.. Else. They look like humans, but corrupted and wrong, in a sense.

Pyric chuckles softly, standing back and watching the antics of the others.

Slowly he reaches out with his hand as if caressing the celestial body he'd created, and allows the surface to cool and harden into a rocky crust, though deep inside the molten core remains.

Ah! Life... yes quite impressive indeed.

Moarzed
In the beggining, the gods roamed alone. And Moarzed roamed farthest from them all. Opposite from the fiery planet, and slightly farther from the star, Moarzed fashioned a world of many climates and distances. Where oceans and mountains ran together, overlooked by volcanos surrounded by dense forests and within sight of a harsh tundra. The land was where only the strongest would survive. The world that was so different from all others, and yet so similar. As he fashioned it, he decided on a name for this new world.
Maxim.

A furrow of movement can be seen in the room. It is slight, and only visible to a god, but it is there. As it reached the rift, and left into the void, a midnight black panther formed and leaped into the void that was existence. He traversed a great distance, searching for a place of shadow and darkness.

He sighed and breathed out.

Hodari detested being invisible to all, and so he fashioned a world far from the star from whence he came. Instead of relying on fresh heat, his world would trap the little it got from the sun and generate it's own. The volcanic center would boil the air, and the atmosphere was thick enough to keep it all contained. The planet was dark, but it was warm enough for life to be born on it's surface.

"I shall call it Hodra - the darkest light." Hodari said proudly as creatures sprang up on the planet's surface.

His loneliness continued to grow, however. In time it grew to such a level he could no longer bear just being able to see himself. He walked among the life of his world and found a small creature, a creature he had named 'raccoon'.

Into this creature he poured intelligence, will, and strength. Such will was much for the body, and it grew. It's eyes become glowing and amber, it's ears pointy and it's fur monochromatic. And so the first of our kind - The Hodran - was born.

Hodari placed his paw on the creature's head and said...

"Viva, viva, viagra!" He said, smiling as only a panther could at the creature. It's eyes glazed over and it ran off into the forest to seek mates.

Yes, MATES.

... words in the old language that made the Hodran a very amorous, productive creature. The Hodran was as intelligent and sly as it's creator, and so found as many mates as it desired.

But as time passed, the wisdom and intelligence of the generations after fell and fell, so they were no longer as sly as a god, and instead were simply 'sentient'. Fortunately at that point the planet was covered with Hodrans.

Some are said to still posses the blessing of the panther god, but if this is true none have revealed themselves.

Actions (put simpler)
Fashions a planet that has a thick atmosphere to keep heat contained. As a result, the planet is extremely dark, even before life begins to spring up. The life is allowed to run rampant, and so jungles are formed.

After life forms, creates a sentient species known as 'Hodran'.

Torr examined his surroundings. It appeared as if there were none. He was alone in an empty void of space. He saw, far in the distance, the other gods. Torr looked to Pyric for answers. "Pyric, do you know exactly what is going on? Why is this little ball of fire still burning, and are we leaving home?" He asked.

Hrothlar
Hrothlar looks like a gray, old wizard as he emerges from a state of flux. Scattered, for a moment, across the timeless infinity of space he becomes whole. Immidiately after his soft-sole cloth shoes brush against the floor of the red room, he realizes that he has always existed. That his longevity is infinite, and that his life runs eternally on both sides of the Universe born before him.
"So, this is what it's like being a God? Interesting. He approaches the moon and watches. Fantastic. Human life. Remarkable creation, remarkable. A shame they should be limited to this moon...

Hrothlar waves his hand across the moon, closing a fist as if grasping something within his withered old hand. Gently, he brings it to the planet and turns his fist into an open palm. A fine, silvery dust falls across the planet and sweeps across the continents. Pockets of humanity begin to emerge from the dust, in every corner of the globe.

"Tribes, they shall be. Many tribes and many peoples. Remarkable things, they will do on this planet. Some terrible, yes, but many remarkable. This new place should be wonderful, for them.

Waving his hands across the rough form of the planet, Hrothlar paints the oceans and sky blue, wonderful shades the same colors as his robe. The ground becomes green, like the moss on the knob of his gnarled staff. The Mountains gray, like his beard.

"And now, I think, I shall rest for a moment.

Hrothlar sites, cross legged in a meditative stance, and begins reading Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon.

Moarzed
Moarzed sat reflectively as he ran his fingers along the contours of Maxim. It was glorious and beautiful, but it was missing something. Life. He drew up the metals from the mountains and made bones. He drew out the bark from trees and made flesh. He drew out the water and made life giving blood. He drew up thick grasses and made hair. Then he bound them together in to beautiful creatures, bipedal but with fur covering much or their bodies. And Moarzed saw they were good, and called them catgirls and catboys.::smallbiggrin:

Bertholeum

Bertholeum gazed at the moon for a while, then headed towards the first planet.

He ran around it and caused it to spin rapidly. As he stepped on the cold ground of the planet for the first time, he observed the natural cycles and decided to add some variety by shaping the seasons himself. However, his actions had...unforeseen consequences, in that weather patterns became extremely chaotic, causing increased natural disasters in some regions: torrential rain in the tropics, landslides, thunderstorms, hail storms...

"Things are getting dangerous here... Oh well. What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger, right? And storms are pretty...I'm sure someone will appreciate the beauty of my work someday!"

The joyful god wandered the surface of the planet until he found a suitable site for his next experiment. He planted some seeds into the earth, added water and waited a whole century or so. Finally, full-grown antelope-human hybrids emerged from the ground. He named these people Runners and sent them away to scavenge anything they deemed useful or interesting. Their destiny, he told them, was entirely their own to shape.

[[The second turn is up, ladies and gents!]]

Pyric forms a small planet orbiting the sun, a planet of fire and flame, oceans of motlen stone and metal, great geysers of lava errupting from it's surface.
Pyric cools the outer magma of his planet, creating a livable surface.

Silunus creates Eselen, and set it to orbit the molten planet.
Silunus creates humans from the surface of Eselen, who begin making tribes.

Azrathar creates a darker version of Eselen, also orbiting the molten planet, calling it Limbo.
Azrathar creates a sort of twisted human race there.

Moarzed creates Maxim, which is opposite from the fiery planet, and slightly farther from the star, a world of many climates and distances.
Moarzed creates a race of cat people on Maxim.

Hodari created a planet far from the sun, calling it Hodra.
Hodari creates plant and small animal life on the planet, making for a good ecosystem.
Hodari creates a sentient race to live there, The Hodran.

Hrothlar spreads the humans to the molten planet.
Hrothlar creates plant life on the molten planet, and pours water into valleys and makes oceans.

Bertholeum creates all sorts of natural desasters on Eselen.
Bertholeum grows a race of antelope-human hybrids, and calls them runners. He sends them to salvage and multiply.

Torr waits.

Lohkir waits

He floats down to inspect it, and realizes that the soul of the human has not left his body. Upon further thought, he realizes the death gods have not done anything with the souls! Woe to them! He gathered his wrath for torturing these poor mortals, and threw it at the gods, causing them to be stunned and writhed in pain. Birth of a Goddess

I. In the beginning, there was a consciousness. And the consciousness dreamed of steam, and brass, and lightning, and gears turning. This consciousness knew that it could not make its dreams a reality unless it had a physical form, like every other divine consciousness.
II. So the consciousness willed into being a body perfect in every way, of brass and crystal and steam and steel, just as it had dreamed. And the consciousness entered the body, and fused with the body's own spirit, and the consciousness became The Elegant Nova Of Innovation In Steam Enshrouded And In Brass Enthroned.
III. Now The Elegant Nova Of Innovation stretched out wings of golden fire, and laughed in excited apprehension, and flew out of the sun. She saw the gods crafting as they would, and decided in her infinite mercy to allow them their petty games.
IV. But now she saw a planet with her golden eyes, one made by a god of felinic chaos. And when she focused her sight upon the planet, she saw creatures like unto cats but in a perfected form like unto her own. Spoke she: "If only they were vulpine in form, for then they would be as perfect as it is possible for an organic lifeform to be."
V. Straightaway, a thought struck The Elegant Nova Of Innovation, and she smiled to herself, saying - "I shall make them into the perfect form then, for within me is the knowledge to do so."
VI. The Elegant Nova Of Innovation flew through the endless void, descending upon the hostile world, and she was pleased to see that it was so fierce, for any worthwhile invention must be tested to its limits. Like an angel she fell, down into a region heavily mountained and thick with snow.
VII. "Here," she said to herself, "I shall make an empire of steam and brass that will reach to the stars themselves!" Then forged she a laboratory there, that she might be able to craft the genesis of life itself.

Birth of a Race

A Maximite catgirl woke up, and then wished she hadn't. After all, sleep hadn't involved needles, and galvanic rods, and being trapped in vats of glowing liquid.

"Oh, you are awake. That will make this rather interesting." There was a strange woman standing in front of the vat, adjusting valves and checking gages, with a voice that was simultaneously artificial, youthful, innocent, and scary beyond all reason. "I am certain that you must be very curious on several matters, including your abduction for science and my own purposes in conducting this abduction. Since you are incapable of talking at the moment-" she smiled at the catgirl with far too many perfect teeth- "I shall have to perform the talking for both of us. Now, what to cover first?"

"Mmmph!"

"You are correct! I should start by giving you an overview on the marvelous experiment I am about to perform. You see, every creature in existence has a genetic-morphic field. Yours is a combination of the genetic-morphic code for feline and primate. It is my intention to adjust your genetic-morphic code to include vulpine traits instead of feline traits, and thereby transform you into one of the mothers of my new perfect organic race! Lucky you! Of course, I will be converting the males of your species as well, but simple biology requires much more females be initially converted if the initial population boom is to be sustained, which is where you come in. You are, in essentia, a factory for the production of my new race - at least, once I run my experiments upon you.

Now, kindly desist in your struggling. Your restraints are divinely-empowered, not simple leather and steel. Besides, struggling throws off the instruments - see what you just did there? For shame. I will have to introduce more aqueous morphine into your bloodstream to prevent this from happening further.

Where was I? Ah, yes, my new race. As is obvious, you were chosen for your high level of physical excellence, for your mind will be overwritten by my adjustments. Do not worry, you will be content for the rest of your life, but your children will have the cunning and intelligence that I require from them, as well as your own physical traits. Rejoice, for in your own shaping is the birth of a generation's exaltation!

Please, tell me how this feels once I am done. I am certain that there will be some level of physical uncomfort, but seeing as I lack your organic level of pain receptors, I can only wonder at the level of suffering that you will endure through the adjustment of your genetic-morphic field. Still, it will be for a good cause, you must understand!"

The goddess, finally content that everything was ready, looked up into the drugged eyes of the catgirl as she reached out and took hold of the lever built into the vat's side. "For Science!" The lever was pulled, and the galvanics began to glow ever brighter as the catgirl thrashed and screamed. And as Science was undergone, The Elegant Nova Of Innovation looked skywards and laughed triumphantly.

Finally, the galvanics died down, and The Elegant Nova Of Innovation looked at what she had crafted. The feline features of the former catgirl were gone, replaced by vulpine fur and muzzle, a fine and luxurious tail replacing the rather common one she had before. While her eyes were dull and unintelligent, the eyes of her children would be bright with clarity and understanding of what could be. They would be the Raposa, and they would be her chosen people!

As hodari looked on his world, he saw that Hodrans were limited in their ability to expand. Certainly, there were enough of them, but the problem was the land in which they lived. Hodran lifestyles required jungles - and the world he created had very little jungle.

He also noticed that the souls of those who died would wander the planet, and that those souls had minor divine power, in the same domains as he, albeit to a lesser extent.

So he decided to visit his budding race. They had formed villages in the trees, and when Hodari came, Hodrans believed him a predator, and they were afraid.

He said, "Those who are not afraid, step forward."

Only six Hodrans dared step towards their god, and they were trembling in awe at his presence. Hodari was pleased by them, and breathed on each of their faces. When he was done, he calmly turned around and said, "You shall be the shepards of this world. Now, go, and teach others the power i have bestowed upon you. But i warn you: your power must never be used to bring back the dead. That is your only warning."

The Hodrans gasped as they opened their eyes and saw the spirits of their ancestors around them. They found they could communicate with these spirits, and in so doing, shape the land. Thus did Hodari create the Shaman of the Jungle.

These six spread their teachings, and in time, they caused the jungle in which most Hodra life dwelled to slowly grow beneath the black sky.

- From the book of the Panther, Passage 2

Hodari sighed as he let his head fall limp. His shamans would spread the jungle for now, and he could rest for a time. Hodari's eyes looked back at the sun from whence he came and he smiled. Perhaps one day he would see what else had occured in this cold, dark universe...

He turned his gaze back to Hodra. But he would not be returning any time soon.

1 Act: Create Shamans on the world of Hodra. Hodrans begin to expand their jungles (very slowly) and their spirits wander the land

((Note: i didn't spend an act to give the spirits their power because of Hodari's method of creating the species))

Ahh good people to inhabit the land and flourish. Yes, yes quite good indeed. We should name this planet so as not to confuse it with the other. I'll call it... Gade, and I think I'll add creatures of my own to it.

With that he made a grand rising motion with his hand and deep inside Gade's molten core arose a beasts of fire, great glistening scaled bodies and massive wings, their heads crowned with horns and fire from their breath.

I give the creatures dragons to watch over them... and to aid these dragons... MAGIC!

Discovering what he had missed, The wizard draws his silver sword and cuts locks of hair from his beard. Holding them between his fingers, he scatters them across the planet, creating trees, plants, and fruits and vegetables so that the humans may have air to breathe, food to eat, and wood to build with. He pauses. From the planet, he takes the grasses and bushes and molds them into shapes, and breathes life into them, thus creating herbivores that will forever roam the lands and multiply.

Moarzed awoke and looked down upon Maxim and smiled as he saw the progress of his people. They had divided into three groups, the Calico cat people had claimed the plains, the ginger catfolk inhabited the mountains, and the black catfolk in the forests and jungles. They had constructed an amazonian society, with the catgirls gathering food and fighting the other tribes with crude wooden tools in a mockery of sentience, while the males took care of the kittens and built up settlements. But they lived by a frugal diet of plant matter. So Moarzed was struck with a grand idea.
He took some water and rock, crushed them together, and put the resulting creature back into water. These creatures he decided to call fish, and the catfolk found that they were a good source of food.

War on Maxim!

I. In time, the Raposa were fruitful and multiplied, in thanks to the social engineering of their goddess. And they praised her, naming her Our Lady Of Science.
II. Seeing this, Our Lady Of Science was pleased, and taught them how to make spears from stones and staves, and how to make wooden breastplates and shields. Oft she would sigh, speaking of galvanic cannons and steam-guns and plasma swords, but the Raposa were not yet wise enough to understand the technology involved in their creation, and she would not make them for her people.
III. For she spoke to them, saying that their artifice must build a society, even though she taught them their artifice. Cunning was a virtue, and that they must grow on their own.
IV. So the Raposa, seeing that their labor was difficult when they built shelters to protect them from the bitter cold, looked to the ginger catfolk of the mountains, and cunning bloomed within their hearts.
V. Now, the Raposa went to war, in small bands of five or seven, kidnapping catfolk from the ginger tribes and making them into slaves. Some they took for the pleasures of the flesh, but most were beaten and bound and forced to labor in the bitter cold instead of the Raposa.
VI. And The Elegant Nova Of Innovation was well-pleased with her people, for they had already learned that the strong and the cunning are destined to rule.

He Is Your Master!

The Raposa were beginning to spread across the mountains they called home, but the mightiest and the most cunning were called back to Cold House, the fortress of their creator.

So they came, and some brought their slaves, and some brought their weapons, wondering if they were to make some great war against the catfolk. But now they stood in front of Cold House, and waited.

Suddenly, the doors swung open, and out strode The Elegant Nova Of Innovation, dressed in her finest. Down the steps of Cold House she came, looking around, muttering to herself. "No. You will not do. Not him. Next. Where is he?"

The Raposa were nervous, and every chosen looked downcast and shook their heads as their goddess passed them. Woe to them, for they were found wanting. But now, finally, Our Lady Of Science gave a squeal of joy, as she looked upon Eijas of Hawks, greatest of the Raposa gathered there, and the most cunning. At his side was a length of metal, honed into a long sharp sword, and in his gaze was power.

"Raposa of the Twelve Tribes, look upon your new king! I have seen into his soul, and it is as cunning and genius as I could wish. How spectacular! How mighty!" And Eijas of Hawks bowed before her, and she removed a small circlet of brass from her coat, placing it upon his head. "Now, come with me, and I will explain your new duties, king of the Raposa. And perhaps we shall do more, handsome one." Her eyes alight, The Elegant Nova Of Innovation led Eijas into Cold House, and the doors swung shut once again.

He walked about the mountains, searching for the creator of the marauders.

"Greetings again, Other One. I believe we should have a meeting, all of us, in order to lie down some ground rules, before we really get to work. Can't have us ruining eachother's work, can we now? When you are ready, come to me. We will gather there."

A Meeting With Moarzed

I. Now, the accursed Moarzed descended from the heavens in search of Our Lady Of Science, but she found him first, like a fox on the hunt.
II. He was walking among the lands of the Reposa when she came to him, smiling and welcoming him to her lands.
III. Now, she said, is there a reason that you have come here, or are you simply curious?

A Meeting Above The Universe

Above Maxim she came once more on wings of golden fire, flying through the universe to meet the gods, as an uninvited guest. She had her ways of finding out, even though the gas-man did not come to her. As she came among them, she spoke, for thus was her nature. She could hardly not speak.

"Is this all? A cloud of gas, an ancient old man, a suit of armor, a man of fire and a man of silver? Hardly what one thinks of when one thinks of the gods - but perhaps appearances aren't everything. I must certainly hope so. What are you all?"

Torr looked back and forth between all the people. "Why did you even leave home to begin with?" Confused he just sat down. "Make yourselves at, whoah." He thought. "I have been made redundant."

A Meeting in Maxim, At the Cold House

Some time later, The Elegant Nova Of Innovation brought the god Moarzed to Cold House, offering delicious foods and drinks that were certainly not poisoned, ha, perish the thought.

"Now, as I said before, I seek to strengthen both our races by my children's current path. Consider slavery - the weak and the stupid become servants, as is right, and the strong and the cunning rule, as is right. Now, I am afraid that due to my genius, the Raposa are more cunning than your felines, but over time this will change. Already, the tribes of your felines here in the mountains adapt and strengthen themselves in response. In fact, I do not mind if they take their own slaves from the Raposa, for it will strengthen my children to have the weak and the foolish weeded from their ranks.

Together, we can manipulate both races into becoming mighty and strong. Giving them both an enemy is only wise if we wish to hone them, and then once they are ready we can give them a common enemy! But consider what else they will gain from war - the spoils of war will allow your children to learn some of my children's more advanced technology, while slave labor allows both of our races to increase the size of their infastructure.

What do you say, creator of the felines?"

Neln shot out of the gap, grinning as he looked unto this universe. "Yes, it will serve my purposes", he thought. He saw a group of gods gathered in space, just sort of standing there. "That's unneeded! And plus I need to make friends in this universe, lest I get attacked." He warped over to them, only to find them arguing about who is their leader. He spoke, attempting to project his voice over the other gods:

"Greetings! I would like to join in this meeting, as I assume thats what it is. Firstly, we are gods! Gods do not stand around in space! Gods have great halls to feast in!"
And with that, he took a ample amount of ether, and formed it into a very small moon like planet, placed directly above the sun, in a place of neutrality.

Second, He formed a large [greek like architecture] fortress, covering most of it. For now it was empty, a maze of rooms and empty hallways. Only one room is furnished, and that is the great hall. The great hall is a huge room, sided with support columns, and with a huge table in the middle sided with thrones. Each throne has the innate power to be morphed without acts, thus allowing beings that are not humanoid to sit comfortably. He worked hard to hold back adding dark and rotting things in paintings, since this was supposed to be a place of neutrality. He then said
"This might be a better place for our meetings, as it is not so... impromptu and empty. If you do not trust me, I can of course change it to fit my needs as a fortress, and we can continue sitting in a circle in the void. Also, I do not care for who the master of the meeting is, so I will not vote, as to be fair. I am just trying make everything happy, since I'm the god of.. fun and happiness?

A simple matter of transfusion and an application of willpower, and the seat of The Elegant Nova Of Innovation In Steam Enshrouded And In Brass Enthroned becomes a throne of brass, covered in gauges and levers. Her full title is carved on the back. All of it.

"Neln, you said your name was? How... nice. Allow me to take my own seat."

Hrothlar

Hrothlar sits and his throne becomes a simple wooden chair. His golden goblet becomes a wooden cup of water, and his golden plate becomes a wooden bowl of rice.

"Thank you, Neln. Your skill in architecture is matched only by your abilities to conjure. I commend you."

OOC: By the way, Neln, Im guessing creating the moon+fortress counted as your abilities for the turn. you should put them in bold in your post. Cool idea for the HQ, by the way!

Hodari looked upon the seats, and held up a finger. One of the chairs melted down into a black padding, and Hodari sat down on it as four poles sprang up, with a cover above to cast shadows on him. Three coverings fell down, depicting two glowing red eyes. Hodari smiled as he shifted back into his panther form.

"This will do for now." He said calmly.

And so as the other gods took their own thrones, Hodari took his. The throne's names as given by the Hodran people are listed below:

I would add something to this arbiter, but I admit, I am not the god of Happiness. I am Seln, the god of Decay and Undeath. My powers are not helpful for such a creation as they are, and I am tired from creating this palace anyways. I will respect this being though, and follow what the council decides. For a time, he thought to himself...

He sat down in his throne, and it turned black, with what looks like a half melted skull symbol on the top.

Well done and good idea, Neln. This meeting place will be a symbol of the Council.
Silunus takes a seat and it morphs into a silver throne, with ergonomic handrests full of buttons. The sloping back holds a pattern that shifts and shimmers in the light. The top is crested with a crescent moon.

"I am Lohkir, Emperor of Water and the idea of an Arbiter bothers me. Even if we all agree of these laws what is it to say that the Arbiter won't pervert them, use them against us and challenge us. Those with power 'Use It', what you all have done with your existence already proves that fact. I will only agree to this if the Arbiter is only half-devine. As in a just mortal must contribute to the pot."

Lohkir made his opinion clear as that was all anyone needed to hear. Creating a new divine power for such a task would only end in the tyrant rule of the Arbiter. And a mortal while controllable from such treachery, die quickly and need to be replaced. A being halfway between mortal and god solves that problem. Immortality and all the minor things that make him more then a man, but still lacking the power to make him a god.

- Us gathered here today cannot interfere directly with other Gods' work. I cannot kill any of your creations, you cannot kill mine. Simple. Avatars and so forth should only be used when highly needed.

I heartily agree with all of these, and propose the following:
"- The Arbiter shall have no jurisdiction regarding war within planetary systems (on a planets surface and surrounding moons) but shall have the authority to intervene in interplanetary conflict amongst Mortals with the aim of preventing planetary apocalypse.
- No God can grant mortals directly with sophisticated technology or weapons. They must be allowed to advance independently at a reasonable pace.
- No God may hold mortals in a state of complete slavery. Free will must be allowed to some extent.
- No God may slander any other God, whether amongst mortals or other Gods.
- All of these rules apply to Avatars and Demigods sired by a major God as well."

"I suppose it was too much to expect divine justice to extend to the mortals. I retract my points dealing with them, except for the one about granting mortals technology, especially weapons. I'm not saying we shouldn't give them gifts, but handing them things beyond their control is foolhardy.

No offence to any others gathered here, but it's already been proven that without such restraint there are those that would lead their creations to subjugate and/or destroy the creation of others directly. Our purpose for gathering here is to come to an agreement on what is the best way to go about things, rather than each of us haphazardly doing as they please at the possible expence of others.

So no, no matter how much you or I may want to simply do as we please... we're here to set a few rules in place.

If we cannot directly destroy another's creations, or let ours gain the strength harm another's then we cannot properly defend them, if say one god's creatures get ambitious- He glanced at Nova and tries to enslave or destroy another. I propose we are allowed to create prophets at such times - beings that can interfere in another god's creation IF the need arises.

I propose that we simply agree to never directly interfere with any creations except our own, unless another god does the same to ours. If ours are going to be harmed, we can arm them against their enemy. If such is impossible, then we may create a prophet or avatar.

"Forget the portal, then. If our creations finds a way to transport themselves, with our personal ideals sown in them, and find eachother? If I have taught my children to hate, and they find yours and hate?"

Then they can choose to follow your teachings or they can choose to approach in peace. That's the beautiful thing about free will. My creations will have the choice of defending themselves or surrendering... or they could run away.

Just as you give your children gifts I will be giving mine. This is another reason to limit what we can and can not simply dole out to our creations. Handing a mortal the power of a god would be foolhardy, but perfectly acceptable under your proposal.

If i tell my Hodrans to attack, you tell yours to attack mine. Simply interfere as close to the other god's level of interference as you can. Hodari said coldly. I realize my impact on my children. You, on the other hand, seem to think of them as <mindless sheep>.

Hodari's eyes glowed brighter as a grin spread across his features. Is that a challenge? He asked. A war between two gods would be interesting but it would likely wipe out most life created...

Here's MY point: no matter how strong my influence is, my creatures will have final say, always. That is just how i work. As long as you don't directly interfere with your race's feelings towards mine you have nothing to fear from me. However, if you come after Hodra, i will make ABSOLUTELY SURE your creatures never see it's surface. If you choose to force them there, they will die. If you choose to confront me directly, your world shall be consumed by shadow.

Hodari stood up. With our brethren as our witnesses, i swear, Azranthar: freedom will survive as long as i have power to defend it. He dissolved into shadowy tendrils, which flowed out of his chair and disappeared as they entered the light.

As Gods, we are responsible for our creatures, including for their freedom. And also, we must not present them with technology which would radically differ them from a normal pace of development.

This is getting out of hand! I may not be a god of peace, but this arguing is getting us nowhere. I propose a simpler set of rules, since no one can agree:

The Five Rules:
1. No giving our creations advanced technology.

2. No Tampering with eachothers creations. Mortals can tamper, but any major wars will be dicided on action wise with the two gods talking and the arbiter moderating.

3. No God may hurt another god.

4. No God may slander any other God, whether amongst mortals or other Gods.

5. No fighting in the great hall.

This I think will work.

After the discussion came to the creation of an arbiter, He fell silent. He listened to the discussion, as it turned to the rules to bind them.

When Seln created the hall, He stepped forth to one seat. Upon sitting on it, it turned into a throne carved from obsidian. Finally He points His gaze upon Azrathar.

I think these rules are acceptable and something we all can agree upon. Although one may add that Gods could influence anothers work, if the latter admitted it.

- Us gathered here today may visit another God's domain, though the God's who's domain it is' rules apply. These rules being made now also apply, of course.
- Do not advance a creation's technology, magic or anything in that genre. The Gods may, however, introduce magic to their people, and if needed, teach a single being how to use it.

We need all the Gods gathered here for it to have an effect. Also, I still stand by the fact, that we make a binding pledge, which is not simply based on honor and / or fear of retaliation."

"Those rules are acceptable, and I throw my weight in support of them. I am glad we have reached a decision."
Hrothlar conjures a scroll and inkpen, onto which he begins to scrawl a charter.

First Chater of the Twelve Gods
And Law of the Divine Arbiter
(1)No God shall ever attempt to kill any other God.

(2)The dominion and creation of a God is sacred, and shall not be interfered with by any other God, unless permission is given.

(3) The Gods shall be a pantheon to mortals. None should be kept secret or outright slandered by any other God.

(4) Calmness shall reign in the Great Hall.

(5) Any God can visit any domain, however, the rules of the God whose domain they are visiting is the second highest form of Law, behind only this charter.

(6) No God may outright donate specific magic or technology to a mortal race with the intention of advancing them beyond their natural progression. The basic tenants of magic, however, may be taught to mortals to get them started.

Such is the will of the Gods. Such is the Law of the Arbiter.

A Meeting Above The Universe

After Hrothlar finishes writing the charter, The Elegant Nova Of Innovation picks it up and examines it. And she smiles; Lohkir may notice that it resembles a shark's grin. She says, grandly, "I, The Elegant Nova Of Innovation In Steam Enshrouded And In Brass Enthroned, find the laws of the charter to be binding and will give my full support to their adherance and execution." She pulls an elegant pen out of her... arm... and grandly signs her full title. All of it.

Foolish godlings. The rules of the gas-cloud had not been acceptable to her, but these loose, easily-loopholable rules written by the ancient god were. No God shall attempt to kill another? Cripple your foe, then. No advancement beyond the natural progression? SHE made the natural progression! No outright donation of technology? Then it shall be bought through service and devotion!

Now, I am afraid that due to my genius, the Reposa are more cunning than your felines, but over time this will change. Already, the tribes of your felines here in the mountains adapt and strengthen themselves in response. In fact, I do not mind if they take their own slaves from the Reposa, for it will strengthen my children to have the weak and the foolish weeded from their ranks.

(Sorry for break, internet's down!:smallfrown:)

That sounds wise and agreeable. Moarzed said, taking a bite from some food.

In SPACE

Reloark moves in the space between Dais and Gade. Once there He looks around for a moment.

Deciding that the place is fitting, He holds His hand out and begins to slowly compress that hand into a fist. As His hand closes, debris gets pulled to a single point before Him. The debris collides, forming a first a small ball, the getting bigger and bigger, till it finally is slightly bigger than it´s neighbour Dais.

Reloark looks down on His creation, right now nothing more than a darkly brown colored, barren rock. Great ranges of mountains, large areas of hills and wide plains, nothing more. That would soon change, but first a name.

And at the end of the guild wars, our lord Hodari returned. Gazing upon the carnage, he was outraged at the horrible things the Hodrans had done to themselves over who should lead. He appeared to all his shamans and said thus:

"I shall decide who leads my people in time. Cease and desist your petty wars for a period, and i shall do so. Hunting will be the only murder allowed until that point."

Our people agreed to a temporary cease fire but military bases still hung from many trees in our home. Through diplomacy, deals and the like, we attempted to build our own nations without the need for violence. We awaited eagerly for what our lord would tell us...

Now, I am also certain that you are wondering to yourself how you can trust me to be a loyal ally. Do not take the time to worry over it. I can already tell that you are strong enough to make treachery disadvantageous and cunning enough to be a fine ally and an aggravating enemy. Going behind your back or betraying you would be an act of senseless villainy, and I do not enjoy senseless villainy. It is not logical at all to alienate potential allies.

Now, on to other matters. Is there any technological secrets that you would want your creations to possess? I know the secrets of textiles, of tools, of nations and their building, of chemicals and potions. If you want, I could even teach you how to finely manipulate genetic-morphic fields. For the right price, of course, as anything else would be unwise. This is, after all, an exchange of equals working together for the common good of our races."

Expansion of the Raposa

I. In this time, Eijas of Hawks, King of the Raposa, called up the clan chieftains and spoke to them for three days and three nights, and these were his words.
II. That the Raposa were the natural rulers of the world, and the catfolk were fit only to be their servants and slaves, concubines and laborers. And hearing this, the Raposa agreed.
III. That the Raposa united were more powerful than all of the Raposa alone, and that being one race created by Our Lady Of Science, they should all work towards the common good. And he took up branches from the mountain trees, and bound them together, and not one Raposa could break them.
IV. That the catfolk were natural hunters, though the Raposa were designed to be perfect, and they would need weapons to subjugate the catfolk clans, and cunning beyond what they had already displayed. And hearing this, the Raposa agreed.
V. Hearing this, Eijas of Hawks pointed to the sky, at the coming storm, though all about him trembled. Said he: we are Raposa, we are the masters of all we see! We are the storm, for we cannot be stopped, and upon seeing us every lesser race shall tremble!
VI. Thus was born the Storm Accords, for they were the rites of the Raposa nation which was born that day. No one Raposa could come to agreement on a name for the nation, so they called themselves simply the Coming Storm.
VII. The Raposa were more cunning than any other now, for they knew secrets of thread and spindle, which they used to make coverings for themselves, and nets to catch the catfolk; they knew the secrets of metal and stone, which they used to make weapons for themselves and tools for crafting; they knew the secrets of wood and plant, which they used to make shelters for themselves and medicine to keep themselves alive.
VIII. In all this, the Raposa were blessed, but not by divine intervention but by the nature of their creation. Cunning they were, more than any other race, and skilled in the creation of clever things, and delicate work was their delight.
Yeah, despite the fact that it's not direct divine intervention, I think it's still worth 1 ACT to advance the Raposa.

2010-06-09, 07:05 PM
Vamor was in grave pain. He was holding the souls of all the departed and dead beings in the world, besides on the worlds of the two gods that had heeded his warning. He was furious, but in so much pain... He would get their attention. He let out a massively loud scream, that shook the entire universe, letting them know the pain of holding all these souls! Vials in the Cold House shattered, earthquakes shook Dias, trees fell and animals scattered on Gade, and hurricanes struck Eselen. His pain was felt all over the universe, and his first act in this new universe was to speak to Azranthar, although it is heard by all the deities.

"You are the god of Death! Create somewhere for souls to go! I care not for how or if you reuse them, just do Something!!"

<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>

Vamor, with the pain now gone for a time, saw the gods creating an law enforcer of the universe. This seemed like a good thing, since he didn't want this universe collapsing like the last one... Secretly, he gave his power unto the gods who helped, recuperating there loses for creating it.

Vamor gives all the gods who have spent acts to create the arbiter and extra act this turn, including Silunus (You better pay up, or Vamor will be furious ).
Summary:

The Elegant Nova created the Raposa.
The Elegant Nova blessed the Raposa with divine intelligence, advancing them to the next stage of civilization (Early Medieval).

Silunus creates the Soulstones, indestructible diamonds in the center of every village or city. When a moonperson dies, their soul goes into their home's Soulstone.
Silunus silently uses his power to integrate the new arcane magic into the very cloth of Eselen, so that his previous divine magic and this new magic meld into a more powerful form that is present not only in his people, but also the climate so that his people that are hurt the most are the strongest.

Torr creates a world steeped heavily in magic, with six acts? (Did you mean to send me PM or something? Why did it take six acts? Or are you still doing the magic thing? So many questions...)

Hodari creates Shamans on the world of Hodra. Hodrans begin to expand their jungles (very slowly) and their spirits wander the land.
Hodari puts his love of freedom into the arbiter.

Pyric creates the dragons.
Pyric Imbues the dragons with magic at their very core.
Pyric give the arbiter the hearth, heart of the family.

Hrothlar scatters a lock of his beard across Gade, creating trees, plants, fruits, and vegetables so that the humans may have air to breathe, food to eat, and wood to build with.
Hrothlar creates multiple races of herbivores to wander Gade.
Hrothlar puts his Sense of Justice into the arbiter.

Moarzed creates lots of species of fish to wander around in Maxim's waters.

Azranthar strengthens the core of his planet.

Seln Creates a moon like planet above the sun.
Seln creates a fortress there, including the great hall, the meeting place of the gods.

Reloark conributes his adherence to law to the arbiter.
Reloark Creates a nameless planet halfway between Gade and Dias.

Pyric winces at the scream. His look, that one of annoyance as he sticks a finger in his ear as if to try and correct his hearing after the outburst.

I suppose if you want something done, you have to do it yourself.

Pyric claps his hands together, creating a connection of every living thing on the planet Gade to it's planet's firey core, and connects that core to the hearths of any home on the planet, allowing his people's ancestors to watch over and guide their family, and not tax the elder god, whoever he may be.

Now... who exactly was that? Pardon me, won't you?

As god of knowledge Pyric's curiosity is irrisistable and he leaves the gathering to find the being that was calling out to them.

((The kobolds here bear little resemblance to the DND kobolds aside from their name. These are closer in fact to the Unforgotten realms kobolds. They look like this: http://www.urealms.com/urealms/ur10trailer.html ))

The kobolds were a piece of Hodari's plan for our world, though we did not realize this until later. At the time the kobolds seemed to simply be monsters. They adored war in everything they did, and unfortunately for our kind we were the only targets they had.

The kobolds were furry, catlike humanoids with a perchance for tools and flame. In time (according to the prophet Aquindana it occured faster than they would have done alone, or even in civil war) they learned to fashion their own weapons.

Hodari created the kobolds to be creative and adaptive. Our war with them was a long and difficult one, for while we had the trees and shamans on our side, the kobolds had their tunnels and warlocks: beings capable of forcing the spirits of other species to their whims.*

The two factions - our race and the kobolds - constantly tested each other with their might. We grew proud, and our warfare turned from straight battles to guerrilla tactics out of neccesity - fighting a kobold head on was suicide.

*It is unknown what happens to a kobold's soul when it dies.

Created Kobolds. Created Warlocks among the kobold race.

((Kobold souls are reborn into Aratian bodies but they have no way of knowing this))

I think I have done my service here, and I will be off. After one little addition...
He flew in a circle around the great hall, enchanting the walls with powerful magic. Seln would know whenever any living or divine creature moved near the fortress, and he would have the option of erecting a powerful wall of force keeping them out.*

He then flew full speed to Maxim, flying low, just above the trees when he got there. He flew in a grid pattern, looking for either god settled there. On his way, he came across a tribe of catfolk. Hrm... "Quick," He thought, "There is little time..."

*[[Destroyable by gods of course, but they don't know it only takes an act to destroy. Roleplay it please. I posted this part instead of PMing it so no one would get mad about creating huge walls of force with one act.]]

Hrothlar

Hrothlar looks onto the humans on Gade. He watches them scurry about in tribes and hunt animals. He watches them strike each other, seeing little difference between fellow man and beasts of hunt. Though the dragons attempt to teach the humans knowledge and the finer secrets of magic, but their work is painfully slow because the humans refuse to take Dragons into their midst.

"No, no, no, this cannot do."

Hrothlar, realizing what the humans are missing, reaches his hand to the planet and plucks the mightiest, wisest dragon he could find. In space, he holds the dragon in his palm and sculpts it, until it has taken the form of a man, and then breathes divine wisdom into it.

"I bequeath you, King Draco the Wise" and I send you to united the tribes to teach them wisdom and law and build from them a powerful nation."

Act One: Create wise, civilized Hero/demigod
Act Two: Bestow Intelligence to Humans on Gade

"Now, go to Gade, and prosper. Show the humans wisdom and civilization."

Reloark

As the booming voice echoed through the void, Reloark shook His head. Even if this god of death was neglecting his duties, there was no reason to scream into His ears, seeing as He hadn´t even created life yet. Shortly He wondered who the screamer was, but went back to Hie work. He could deal with that being later. Now was the time for Peres to really start living.

And so, Reloark blew a cold breath over the mountains. Ice and glaciers were generating at the high reaches and spread to cover the whole mountains. After the spread stopped, some of the ice started to melt and clear water rushed through th hills, forming rivers, and into the plains. Soon the hills became covered in plentiful grass and large forests, then the rivers flowed into the plains. There they covered the lower parts, forming deep marshes and swamps. Beyond that only little water reached the rest of the plains and so they turned into a dry savannah, filled sparsly with bushes and other hardy plants.

Reloark looked onto his handiwork but still was not entirely finished.

Thus He took His mighty fist and crushed it into the highest mountain, flattening it´s top. The foundations of the world shook and out of caves and holes, animals streamed into the world, spreading entirely over it. Most of the animals were carnivores and the few herbivores were up to the fight for survival. Each beast that came forth was deadlier than the last, each capable of fighting in their own way. Reloark wanted to make sure that only the strong could survive.

After spending his strenght that way, Reloark turned to the Solar Forge. Soon the Councils Arbiter would emerge. And He wanted to see what it was, their combined eforts created.

Most Glorious War Of Expansion! All Hail Our Lady Of Science!

I. So it was in the days of coming cold that Eijan of Hawks, king of the Coming Storm, did rally an army to his banner, of every Raposa that was not a driver of the slaves, nor a gatherer of food, that could carry a spear and shield.
II. Then did they march upon the catfolk of the ginger fur, declaring that the mountains were their own, and the catfolk were helpless before them, for the spears of the Raposa were of iron, and so were the chains they placed the catfolk within.
III. Thus were the Mountains of Adamant claimed by the Raposa, for all catfolk within them were either slain or enslaved, or driven down to the plains. And the Raposa did cry holy! holy! for Eijan was like a thunderbolt on the highest peaks, and none could stand before him; and likewise was his sister-son, Akaris of the Ice, who carved a bloody path through all that stood before him.
IV. Now came a time of further war, for the catfolk of the ginger fur did join with the catfolk of the calico fur, and they were cunning in the plains of their home. The Raposa, who had known nothing but the mountains, were driven back by their ambushes, and woe! Akaris of the Ice was surrounded by the calico-furred, and a wooden spear was driven through his chest, and he fell upon his face.
V. Eijan of Hawks drove off the catfolk from his sister-son, but the wound on his sister-son's breast was dire, and thus did Akaris of the Ice say: Uncle, they have slain me. Great was the weeping of Eijan of Hawks, and he called upon Our Lady Of Science to save his sister-son's life.
VI. And lo! on wings of golden fire did Our Lady Of Science descend from the heavens before Eijan of Hawks, saying: the body is ruined, and nothing shall grow from it again; it is doomed to feed the ground, that the grass may live. But heed my words, king of the Coming Storm! Your sister-son's mind I may yet save, though his body is dead, for his heroism does not deserve to be ended here.
VII. Took she up the body of Akaris of the Ice, and swiftly she came to the Cold House, where she performed dire experiments upon Akaris of the Ice, and his screams of pain could be heard for leagues hence, so great was his agony. But on the seventh day, the doors of the Cold House were opened, and out strode Akaris of the Ice.
VIII. Upon the plains, the Raposa were outmatched, for the catfolk were swift of foot and cunning in the way of the hunt, and Eijan of Hawks was wearied by his sister-son's loss. Few slaves had been taken, and for every slave a Raposa had been slain. So Eijan of Hawks ordered the Raposa to retreat, but the felines of the calico fur harried them as they fled, and led the Raposa into a trap.
IX. Then came Akaris of the Ice like a blizzard upon the mountains, and his sword was of emerald, and his shield was of ivory; his eyes were burning fires, and his skin was made of iron. The clubs and the spears of the catfolk broke upon him like twigs thrust against a mountain, and his sword clove through them like a scythe cutting the harvest.
X. The catfolk fled before him, and the Raposa pursued them with net and chain, catching many of the catgirls who had sought to slay them. Great was their cry of triumph, but Eijan of Hawks had eyes only for his sister-son.
XI. Once again, Our Lady Of Science came to him, saying: no longer is he Akaris of the Ice. From this day forward, he is exalted in the machine; his name is Steward Of Incomparable Glories. First is he of the Exalted Machines, the Raposa interred within the most holy metal.
XII. Then there Steward Of Incomparable Glories embraced his uncle, and spoke to him, saying: now I shall serve Our Lady Of Science for all eternity, my uncle. She chose me to guard her house and her people, and this is what I shall do, for she has honored me by releasing me from the flesh.
XIII. Thus was the first of the Exalted Machines created, by the artifice of The Elegant Nova Of Innovation In Steam Enshrouded And In Brass Enthroned. Praise be to her name! Let all bow before the Holy Machine!

1 Act: Create the Exalted Machines - Raposa minds (and brains) enterred in custom-made mechanical bodies. Kind of like Cybermen. Just one now, but there will be more created - the act is just to establish their presence in the setting.

@Creed: I hope I'm not taking too much liberty with the catfolk being beaten again and again. Feel free to write about the catfolk getting their revenge; anything bar the destruction of the Coming Storm and complete genocide of the Raposa is really fair game at this point. :smalltongue:
Also, I wouldn't mind them mimicing Raposa technology or escaped slaves teaching the catfolk stolen technological secrets.

Do you want to keep talking at the Cold House, or are we pretty much done? I'm out of things to say (ironically, as The Elegant Nova Of Innovation is never out of things to say.)

A cloaked figure strode out of the sun, hood up, and he laughed. He looked around at the realm and saw the fledgling planets and was pleased, this was a new start for him.

With a wave of his hand he created a planet circling the sun in the golden zone, and named it Tender. The world resembled earth, with large oceans, sprawling savanahs and high mountains

He then flew down to the planet and, landing atop the highest peak he created a plateau upon which rose a huge Palace made of marble, housing various chambers of worship for the soon to be Cult of Tendrellis. In the center was a thin tower of marble reaching right to the very edge of the atmosphere with a circular staircase carved in the side, exposed to the open air. Atop the tower was a Marble throne upon which Tendrallis seated himself.

If the god had a mouth he would be smiling and as he spoke his words, a mere whisper carried into the minds of all the gods.

"Greetings, I am Tendrallis, I am pleased to see that the gods of this world value order."

Moarzed

((I really don't mind the cat folk getting slammed, I'm working on kitten vengence. I'm fine with ending the cold house now.

As the ginger catfolk were driven from the mountains, however, the great Moarzed watched over them and wept at the sight of his dying creations.
And soon word reached the fierce black catfolk of the forests of the defeat of the gingers, as did it reach the attentive ears of the wise calicos of the plains. The blacks, the calicos, and the remnants of the gingers came together, to attempt to unite under one leader, one who would lead them against the Raposa.
But the petty squabbles of the catfolk clans prevented any organization from being reached.
"I am the strongest, I should lead," said the leader of the blacks.
"I am wisest, I should lead," said the leader of the calicos.
"I know the mountains, I should lead," said the leader of the gingers.
And so the great Moarzed decided on a solution. He took in his hand the same materials of which he had made the catfolk, and shaped another breed. A breed with harsher features and crueler intent, a darker, more brutal heart, but one that would win the respect of the other three tribes. A tribe with firey fur covered with dark stripes.
Moarzed looked down upon his subjects as he sat down this new tribe, and said to them all,

Catfolk, your disputes have been settled. This is the Tribe of the Tiger. They will lead all of the catfolk into war against the Raposa. The blacks will fight alongside the Tigers, the gingers will work on expanding your power internally with new discoveries, and the calicos will be educated by myself to form a group of priests.

And the catfolk learned to like this arrangement, as the gingers discovered new things, the blacks organized into an army, the tigers lead, and the calicos began their training as the Paw of Moarzed.
Soon, the Raposa would find a new enemy among the catfolk.

1: Create the Tiger Tribe
2: Begin training of The Paw of Moarzed (Clerics)

((crapola! gotta dedtime, so posting this for Raz. sorry for double post!:smallfrown:))

[Moarzed]

The Catfolk Strike back on Maxim!

And so the legions of the Black cat folk readied the instruments of their vengeance. Weapons of iron, copied or stone from the Raposa, armed the 600 brave black cat folk and the 100 tiger folk that had trained hard to ready themselves to attack the Raposa. The others had stayed behind to protect the settlements, train, or gather more resources.
And among the tiger folk, one stood above all others. She was Tansania the Deathless, a warrior that stood above all others. And Tansania stood at the front of the army now standing on the edge of the territory formerly belonging to the ginger cat folk.
“For the glory of Moarzed!” she cried, and the rest of the feline army answered with a near deafening cheer, calling out to drive fear into the hearts of the Raposa. And Moarzed smiled upon his people as they charged together into the mountains, to avenge and free their kin. And Moarzed saw another benefit of the Raposa, that a common enemy brought the tribes together, and now true civilization could begin among the cat folk.
And so the glorious vengeance of the cat folk began!

Ah, but I digress, since this needs to be solved before your forces finish their battles. I wish to contract my services of undeath to you. See, this is what I imagine; I will send my creatures, which I have imbued with necromatic powers, to animate your dead as zombies, which will fight for a second time. Think of it as recycling. You will get to keep half of these zombies to serve you, and I will keep the other half. They of course won't be as powerful as the real thing, but they are definitely better than corpses. If you do not like this deal, maybe because you hold your dead dear, I will bother you no more.

Woe To All Raposa! Sorrow And Defeat!

I. And in the height of the season of cold, the feline folk came among us, like a raging flood surging up from the depths of the sea. Seven hundred mighty was their horde, and the settlement of Kyari was theirs for the taking, and all who lived within. The settlement of Yasim fell to them in the same fashion, and all who lived within.
II. At the pass of Seven Colds, which led up to the settlement of Latar, the catfolk advanced, hoping to do to the Raposa of Latar what they had done to the Raposa of Kyari and Yasim. But then judgement came upon them, as Ejiar of Hawks gathered the army of the Raposa once more.
III. For in the pass alone stood Steward Of Incomparable Glories, and spoke he: you shall not pass. Again he spoke, and the voice that roared from his metal throat shook the mountains themselves: you shall not pass!
IV. For armed was he with emerald sword, and ebony spear, and ivory shield. His iron skin was radiant with the fire within, and none among the catfolk dared look upon him without trembling, none save Tansania of the Tiger.

I intentionally left vague what happened to Kyari and Yasim. Slaughter, slavery... burnt to the ground, settled by the catfolk... whatever shakes your boat, Creed.

And even Tansania of the tiger felt a twinge of doubt in her heart as she looked upon the behemoth before her. And for now, she siad only this to the metal machine:
I fear you not, foul daemon, but your bravery impresses me. For your valor and bravery, you have bought the Raposa a year of peace and rest. After that, expect the Horde of The Felines to return, next time even stronger! For the Glory of Moarzed!
And the army echoed her cries, and the hordes of Moarzed pulled back into the occupied cities of Kyari and Yasim, treating the Raposa that they captured there with courtesy, to an extent. Curfews enforced, weapons confiscated, some supplies seized, but the captured Raposa were not forced into the bondage that the catfolk prisoners of war had been forced to.

It appears that the souls of those who drown or otherwise die at sea are in the responsibility of Lohkir. He drifted into space and made them a planet. At this point the planet would be the farthest away from the Sun, and still a considerable distance away from the nearest planet. It was composed entirely of ice and you could see the souls in either their punishment, or their luxury. It was an interesting system because it was not based on how they died as was customary in most afterlives that didn't just put the souls somewhere and said 'have fun'.
[OOC:Sorry if either of these are false but I only read one afterlife which was more or less the latter description.]

The layers were based around punishments for crimes. The only layer not cultivated by the 'sinned' was the very last layer. A hot spring surrounded by a seemingly never ending valley of food. Placed there for the convenience of torture. That every soul who lived a life that Lohkir disapproved of would look down, most people do more often then look up, and wish they lived a better life, or simply be ignorant of why they live for eternity like this. It mattered little to Lohkir if they knew why they live in suffering simply that only those with traits he tolerated were rewarded.

A huge ball of fire exploded outwards from the sun with a tail of sparks following it. It halted a little closer to the sun than a hospitable planet should be. The ball of flame thought of this seemed like an extremely empty spot in space, there could be something interesting here. It looked upon the spheres of rock know as planets and decided that looked like something interesting. Suddenly the ball of fire exploded, forming a planet sized orb of magma. The outer layer eventually cooled to form a planet know as Erden, the rocky and volcano packed world that it was. Suddenly a part of the planet rumbled as part of the crust buckled, silence, then it buckled again expect this time louder and more extremely. Finally a section of land exploded outwards spewing bits of magma and rock out into deep space, the ground rose to form a volcano. Out of this flaming maw stepped a suite off full plate with magma flowing beneath it, almost as if there was a fiery man inside of it. Occasionally a jolt of electricity sparked through the air connecting a plate of metal. The helmet of this fearful figure had blindingly bright eyes in them that matched the color of the sun. It carried an extremely heavy looking hammer that glowed red hot. This was Ringen, the god of War, Fire, and the Sun.
Ringen surveyed his rocky and mostly barren planet, the volcanos dotting the landscape with occasional lava ocean pleased him for they where in his divine image. He decided this place needed something... angrier. He breathed life into his world, oceans spilled into the basins while plants grew on the land, animals began to form as if they where exploding backwards. Ringen didn't just want mindless animals wandering his creation, he wanted intelligent creatures to do his bidding. He picked up his hammer, hefted it in one hand, and slammed it down up the other with a mighty boom and a shower of sparks. He pulled the hammer away to see that one of his armored fingers had fallen off from the mighty impact. He picked it up and dropped it into the volcano that he was born from, the lava bubbled and glowed with a divine light. Suddenly the volcano exploded, showering the surrounding area with huge blobs of lava. These instantly hardened on contact with the rock to form large pillars of searing stone. These began to crack and crumble as something inside of them struggled to get out. When the dust had cleared there stood extremely tall muscular humanoids who had four arms. They looked as if they had been forged out of the desire to wage war upon others. These were the Volk, a mighty race of warriors who believed strongly in survival of the fittest. This pleased Ringen very much, he had a feeling these creatures would live up to his standards if they followed his path.

I cleared it with the GM and he said I could have three actions this turn because I missed so much
Summary:
Act 1- Creating the planet Erden
Act 2- Creating life upon the planet
Act 3- Creating an intelligent race know as the Volk

Deep within the solar forge, something stirred. Something powerful. A powerful solar flare, erupts, and a maiden steps out of the fire. The fire follows her, surrounding her in a halo of light. A book of law is held in her right hand, and a set of scales in her left. Divine wings adorn her back, and her eyes are bright with the fire of judgement. Beneath her robes, the machinery that gives her form hisses and churns, occasionally releasing gouts of steam from her wrists and mouth. She steps onto the platform that the gods had erected for the solar forge, and walks before the two gods there. She stands before them, inspecting them for a second.

"I am the arbiter. I was created for law, and laws I shall maintain. I assume you are Silunus, and you are Reloark. Pleased to meet you. Please lead me to wherever you intend me to mediate from. The great hall perhaps? Or do you have Immediate plans for me?

Foolish Cat-Things! Only The Raposa Are Cunning!

I. And for a year and a day, the Raposa did ready themselves for war. Spear and bow, sword and shield, all were forged in readiness.
II. For a year and a day did the chosen of Our Lady Of Science plot, the Raposa of Kyari and Yasim spying upon the catfolk and carrying messages to the Raposa above the pass. And thus did Eijan of Haws plot, and ordered the warriors at his command to travel around the mountains, finding passes a fortnight off, and a fortnight hence.
III. So it was that when the catfolk came to war once more, the settlements of Kyari and Yasim were surrounded by Raposa hidden in the snow and the caves. And Steward Of Incomparable Glories came forth among his people once more, and came to Yasim in full armament.
IV. Come, he cried to the catfolk, come and meet your doom. Let one of you come to face me, champion of The Elegant Nova Of Innovation In Steam Enshrouded And In Brass Enthroned, Let Her Holy Name Be Praised! Come, champion of Moarzed, or I shall come among your people like a storm among the peaks!

Within the Cold House

Finally. An entire year had been spent laboring on it - the finest thing she'd ever make, at least for a few more months. With a blissful look on her metal face, The Elegant Nova Of Innovation examined her handiwork.

It was a squat chest, at least on the outside, rectangular in shape and made of black iron, with golden ornamentation. More ominously, it was hooked up Gears of gold interlocked around the border, constantly turning in a rather apt metaphor. For you see, there was such a thing as perpetual motion, as The Elegant Nova had been monologuing to herself throughout the entire construction. And this was to be the provider of every bit of energy she and her fledgling civilization was to need for a very, very long time.

She placed her hands into the carven slots on the chest's front, and placed some of her willpower within it - just enough to start it running. It churned, it whirred, and then it happened.

Somewhere, in one of the settlements of the Adamant Mountains, a Raposa died. And its soul, instead of lingering on after death, was drawn into the SOUL FORGE.

Everything in Cold House that needed power automatically began to run, for the SOUL FORGE provided all the power necessary for them. After all, souls were a limitless commidity, created every time a child was concieved. And after all, something needed to be done with them. Can you imagine how much of a waste providing a place for them would have been? How much room would have had to be added year after year to such a place?

But the SOUL FORGE was always, always hungry.

She'd have to show a few Raposa her new creation, and let them realize exactly what could be done with it. Limitless energy, at such a low, low cost.

1 Act: Create the SOUL FORGE, which must always be written in BOLD CAPS and yelled with a booming voice. The artifact provides limitless energy, and runs on the souls of everything that dies on Maxim.

Only mad science comes up with stuff like this. Two birds with one stone.

Challenge on Maxim

And after a year and a day of troops arriving, preparing for war, the Raposa attacked. And Tansania of the tiger strode from her army, armed with her sword and shield, covered in her iron armor, and confidently faced the monster of the Raposa

@Raz: who should win? I'm thinking a machina like Steward is pretty effing tough, but I wanted to clear your victory with you.

(('Skylight' means 'month'. Spiritfinder means shaman. The kobolds refer to Hodari as 'the dark one'. Yes, like the goblin god. Shut up.))

From the journal of Rala Heartseeker
Date: Fourth Skylight, seven days

Brother went through the initiation to become a spiritfinder today. He came home looking like he'd just... well, like he'd just seen a ghost. He was trembling, and even though he told me that it was in awe of how many spirits had been around him his whole life, I'm not too sure. He guzzled down his drink like it would be his last, and Jora came by and told me he had barely looked at her the whole time they had talked. He had looked as if he were in another world.

I failed again at the academy. I'm honestly not sure why they bother keeping me around. I just don't understand, the instructor tells me to let my rage flow, but i feel no anger towards what amounts to bark with the visage of a kobold on it, or towards my opponents in a spar.

Rijak made an even cruder pass than usual at me. He's more attractive than i act like he is, but no one is as hot as he thinks he is. I shot him down even harder, and he swore he'd find a way to make me pay as he shambled off our section of the tree. I'm a little worried, but he deserved it. Whatever he could cook up couldn't be as bad as listening to him proclaim how much my fur is, and i quote, 'like silky bedsheets. I want to wrap myself in it.' By Hodari, what kind of idiot says that in public! Especially when the female has a mate!

I'm sorry this is so nondescript, but I'm in a hurry. I'm heading off to see Jorkan tonight.

May Hodari's eyes shine upon us in the night, and his tail shield us from the light.

From, Rala

From the log of the Criminal Courts of Arzahaud - Kobold city capital

Fourth Skylight, nine days.

Case of Jirix v The Priests of the Dark One

Court rule: The Priests of the Dark One

Reasoning: Jirix's law breaking was committed under false pretenses - though he may not have realized it at the time - and in extreme measures. Murdering the high priest of our great and terrible lord was foolhardy and has upset many of the church's activities. His accusations that the church had become too oriented around mortal law and had moved away from the law of the panther were found untrue. As such, his sentence is to be carried out on the morrow, after he has time to say goodbye to friends and family.

Sentence: Jirix is to be Exiled. His intentions were good and thus killing him would be a crime against the Dark One himself, but at the same time he cannot remain in the caves.

Glory to the Shadow God.

Clash Of The Titans; Victory To The Steward Of Incomparable Glories!

The wind was blowing cold; it was the height of the cold season, and the two foes faced each other across the field of battle. Tansania raised her sword, and so did Steward Of Incomparable Glories.

"Ah, warrior-woman of the feline folk. It was one like you that pierced my breast whilst I were still of the flesh; mayhaps I shalt return the favor now. It is too late to turn aside from the path laid out before thee, and all roads lead to thy humbling."

The clash of their weapons was terrible. The sword of Steward Of Incomparable Glories had been forged by a goddess, but it was clear that Tansania was the better fighter. Where the sword of Steward Of Incomparable Glories struck, the ground was torn asunder, but Tansania nimbly leaped aside from every blow.

And yet. And yet - Tansania was mortal. As the sun crept across the sky, the battle began to turn, as every mortal watching realized that while the battle had once been a stalemate between the untouchable Tansania and the invulnerable Steward Of Incomparable Glories, the champion of The Elegant Nova Of Innovation never tired, while Tansania was slowly but surely becoming exhausted.

Then, oh, but then! The catfolk hissed, and the Raposa laughed, for Tansania bled. One stroke was all it took, for she was not swift enough this time to avoid the thunder-strike of his arm, and blood dripped down her sword-hand. And Steward Of Incomparable Glories laughed, with the sound of clashing metal and hissing steam.

"Surrender thyself before me now, and thou shalt even now be spared the shame of a death before your people. Postrate thyself before thy rightful master, slave-thing, and you shall not only be spared but blessed as a favored concubine of the Storm King. Defy this mercy, and thou shalt perish at my hands, and all those who follow you. Choose well, warrior-woman of the feline folk..."

Well, I thought about it, and while Tansania's definitely the better warrior, Steward is invulnerable, at least to iron swords. So, as seen, over time he'll eventually win. Still, I'm leaving Tansania one last chance at defiance...

Also, I am loving the irony of a matriarchal culture in conflict with a misogynistic culture. Heh.

And the favored of Moarzed glanced at the chosen of the Elegant Nova, and she spat.
We will never surrender! FOR THE GLORY OF MOARZED!
Tansania drew a small knife and ruthlessly attacked in one final show of defiance.
The catfolk army shifted, realizing the coming peril. But the catfolk were a people of honor, and refused to break the sacred contract of a duel.

[Moarzed]
Moarzed scratched his chin thoughtfully, then said to Seln,
This idea is relevant to my intrests. However I have my own plans for the dead. I thank you for the offer, however.

Ah. I thank you for your time then, and I will be off.
"Hmm. Not expected." Seln thought as he shot at impossible speeds out of the atmosphere, creating a streak of purple flame behind him. This is time consuming, and wasteful. I need messengers, but I need to save my energy... Ah, I have it.

With that, Seln created a race of skeletons, to be his elites. They are called The Cado Sanctus, and they are quite fearsome in appearance. They are tall, skeletal humans, with bat-like wings. They have large fangs, and are mildly proficient in combat, but most importantly: They have necromatic powers. Their purpose is to animate dead on planets, and that purpose they forfill well. If any combat presents itself, they fly to a safe distance, and use their undead to defend them.

He then sends one to every deity who he knows their whereabouts [[Pretty much everyone, unless you do not wish to talk to me ]](except Moarzed), and tells them to convey this message:

Greetings, I am the ambasador for Seln, the god of Undeath, and creator of the great hall.

My master wishes to contract my services of undeath to you. Here is my offer, take it or.. don't; I will send my creatures, which I have imbued with necromatic powers, to animate your dead as zombies, which will fight for a second time. Think of it as recycling. This will not consume their souls. You will get to keep half of these zombies to serve you, and I will keep the other half. They of course won't be as powerful as the real thing, but they are definitely better than corpses. If you do not like this deal, maybe because you hold your dead bodies dear, I will bother you no more. Please consider.

Seln then sits at the center of the ring of populated planets with most of the Cado Sanctus, waiting to see if anyone would answer, and hoping none of his emissaries were destroyed.

He pauses for a moment and looks up at the undead messenger that approached him. He responds to the creature before going back to his search.

Arbiter, you may pass judgment from these halls. Do you know what laws you were created to enforce?
Silunus shows her the laws.

The arbiter Looks over the laws, reading them carefully and slowly.

"These seem just and rightful. I vow, as a token of throth [[Yay Thesaurus!]], to protect and uphold these laws till the end of my mind, my body, or both. Thank you for gifting these upon me," She says as she burns the laws into the previously empty law book in her hand. "I now would wish for a book of some sort, containing knowledge of this universes inhabitants, or for some other form for me to learn, since I only know the names and profiles of the deities who created me. If I do not know who I am governing, I cannot govern. If you have matters to attend too, and I know you are busy, I can obtain it on my own.

Pyric taps his chin as he drifts through the vastness of the void, looking for the source of the mysterious voice that had shaken the heavens and earths. He pauses for a moment, opening his book of knowledge to persue the answer.

Certainly no question is beyond answering for the god of knowledge... now where, and who are you?
The overgod looks upon this one, wishing he could speak again. He pulled together all his power and-.. still nothing. Very frustrating! Its impossible to know the frustration of having a thousand things to tell someone, but being unable. With a idea, he saw his chance, and manifested his power in the form of a slight solar wind. It flipped the pages of Pyric's book, until it landed on the definition of the word Ancient, and flipped it again to Power. Not a very fitting choice of words, but it was better than nothing. Maybe later he would be able to talk, maybe later... He continued to watch this one, incase he actually did find a way for the overgod to manifest.

Pyric nods slowly, deep in contemplation as he witnesses the outside force manipulate his book. Instantly his mind sprang forth with ideas of what this force was and ways to comunicate with it, but for now there were other tasks at hand. He dissipates in a flash of flame, returning to his seat in the grand hall is just as a showy of fashion as he's left the void.

Ah pardon my sudden appearance but I felt my ears burning you know.

He chuckles and gives a sly wink as he taps his ear, his unruly locks of flame wavering wildly from his head.

Now I assume our newest arrival here is our arbiter given form and life. It's a pleasure to meet you my dear. I am Pyric, god of fire and knowledge.

As he spoke from his throne he cojured up a small representation of the planet Gade and gently spun it with a few swirls of his fingers, to inspect it's surface. As he did so it's core churned with swarms of his firey arachnids and they passed through the planet's surface, though invisible to most. The seemingly endless flood of spiders spread out over the planet's surface, spinning their webs behind them. The webs were spun into a complex and unseen matrix over the planet and out into the cosmos connecting to the very essence of magic itself. On the planet they were thicker in some areas, creating powerful ley lines, and even more powerful nexi where they intersected. These strands also connected every living creature, allowing them a more direct connection to the forces of magic should they grow learned or talented enough to tap into them.

Oh don't mind my fiddeling, I just love to keep my hands busy.

Pyric creates a magic weave on the planet Gade to offer his subjects a greater connection to magic, should they learn to, or through force of spirit tap into it.

Reloark

Hearing the words of the arbiter, Reloark nodded satified. This being was more than he had anticipated. But upon hearing her question, he spoke:

There I can not truly help you, but the Gods Hrothlar and Pyric here might.

Shortly after He finished, a undead being appeared before him, telling him of Selns offer.

Tell you´re Master I´d be interested, but till now there are no servants of mine that could serve that way. I will contact him later, should the need arise and ... Then He felt it. A war, sentient beings fighting for domination of a planet. Already He could feel them. A tiny blimp of rage, growing stronger.

Excuse me, but there is something I have to attend to.

Although nobody saw it, He was grinning. He had to witness this first true Battle himself. Thus racing across the void, He, Reloark, God of Domination, Law and War, closed onto Maxim. Once there, He beheld the planet, formed by a diety he hadn´t met yet, considering it´s aura. Following the raw energy emiting of the battlefield, he came closer to it.
Invisible to mortal eyes, He noticed first feline beings, formed by the same god as the planet, ready for battle. Opposing them He saw beings similar to the first, but with vulpine features instead of feline. With them, He was reminded of that goddess He saw at the councli, Nova.
It seemed He had arrived before the battle. Only tow were fighting, probably a duel between the leaders of the armies. Such duels were always glorius to behold and so Reloark concentraded on them. On the one side was a feline female, fighting for her life. He commended her bravery and then behold her opponent.

Her opponent. He looked at IT again. The opponent of the feline, belonging to the race of Nova, who was the first to sign the contract. And it seemed, the first TO BREAK IT!

Thus a mighty roar came from Reloark, not heard by the mortals but still affecting them in the very depths of their souls.

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS THING! I DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE EXPLANATION NOVA!!

I. Then spoke Steward Of Incomparable Glories, saying: Alas, were I of the flesh I would have spared thee as my own. My sword is the sword of Our Lady Of Science, and she does not have mercy upon the weak; vengeance is mine to wreak.
II. So saying, he clove the head of the feline warrior-woman from her neck. And the catfolk cried aloud at the sight, and the Raposa in wait all about drew their weapons and their nets, for they knew the day was theirs.
III. Spoke Steward Of Incomparable Glories, in a voice that shook the mountain peaks: fall upon them, my brothers, leave not one dead nor unravished! These are the words of The Elegant Nova Of Innovation In Steam Enshrouded And In Brass Enthroned, She Who Is Both The Machine And The Genius! Show no mercy to the weak, for they who are strong are destined to rule!
IV. And from below the Raposa came, and from either flank, surprising the catfolk with arrow and thrown spear. And then began the Battle of the Pass, for the catfolk were beset on either side by warriors and slavers, and some were slain by the cunning Raposa, and some were subdued by net and chain, helpless before the people of Our Lady Of Science.
V. And before them stood only Steward Of Incomparable Glories, who stood before the corpse of Tansania of the Tigers, waiting for any to dare the pass; and they that fled from the Raposa came willingly into the embrace of his blade, and the thunder-stroke of his spear, and were cloven in twain by his might.

No God may outright donate specific magic or technology to a mortal race with the intention of advancing them beyond their natural progression. The basic tenants of magic, however, may be taught to mortals to get them started.
This is the sixth law of the carta. You were the first to sign it. *He points at the Steward* This ... creature is beyond what you´re creations should be able to build, let alone invent. Glorious Explanation Of Technology Style

"Why, certainly. By and by, I deeply appreciate your devotion to keeping the laws of the charter sacrosanct. Can you imagine what would happen if everyone went around doing what they would without any thought or introspection into their actions? But I digress, which I do rather a lot, if you have not noticed. But that is beside the point.

My first point is that it is not a non-cognizant machine, which certainly falls under the definition of specific technology, and it does not possess an artificial intelligence. Rather, it is driven by the mind and morphic-genetic resonance, commonly referred to as a 'soul' by the non-scientific, of a Raposa hero. Therefore, I argue that it is not a machine, it is an individual whose body has changed. Put bluntly, he has free will and is not simply a device that will do whatever the Raposa order.

Point the second is that even though you are correct that they could not build the body, seeing as I designed it and crafted it myself, they still possess the knowledge and intelligence to understand how it works. The body is built around a fairly simple steam-driven engine, and the only part too complex for their current understanding is the mind-machine transferal circuit that I used to inter the hero into the mechanical body. You severely underestimate their intelligence if you assume that they see only a giant metal man down there. I custom-designed their brains, I should know.

And lastly, though I hate to point out this minor technicality, his service was not donated. Steward Of Incomparable Glories does not 'belong' to the Raposa, he serves my interests. That was the price he chose to pay. He is down there right now because he believes that winning this battle is relevant to my interests.

Does that cover all of your objections, or do I need to go into more detail? I have diagrams, if you need them."

Coldheart

Reloark

So Steward was basicly, and in a much shorter iteration, a divinely empowered hero. Of course in that case divinely empowered meant mechanicly improved. Even though that could mean a serious technological improvement for Raposa, should they figure out how he worked, wich Nova admitted they could, it still wasn´t against the wording of the carta. It was not a donation, they still had to figure it out on their own. They had only a living example to learn from.

I doubt we´ll need those diagrams. It seems that my rection was a bit rash, my apologies. Still, I have one more question, if you allow. Does this ´Steward of Incomparable Glories´ rest with the other Raposa or does he only appear before them in times of need?

All that aside, I think gradulations are in order. It was a short battle, thoroughly won by the Raposa forces.

Glorious Reassurance Of Potential Ally Method

"Ha! I find that thought most amusing! Steward Of Incomparable Glories does not need rest anymore, although he must refuel himself upon occasion; but I understand that your question was not entirely literal. No, he does not live with his people, he does not pursue recreational activities with them, he is set apart by his very nature. He comes among them when he feels he must, but his blessing is a division between him and his people. As you can plainly see, I am devoted to avoiding a breach of the charter.

You are correct in your statement that congratulations are in order. The Raposa are living proof that strength and cunning are the division between master and servant; they serve me because I am stronger and the most cunning, although there may also be some emotional sentiments concerning their creation fueling their service. The feline natives of Maxim are fast, but they are weaker and less cunning than my own creations, and their emotions cloud their decisions to an extreme degree. Observe: that decapitated feline there? Had she chosen the cunning route, to surrender and be humbled, she would now be alive to plot vengeance. But she was unable to bring to bear the necessary cunning to combat the augmented strength of Steward Of Incomparable Glories. And that is why the Raposa will win."

Reloark

As Nova confirmed that this Steward held at least some degree of distance between him and the Raposa, Reloark nodded.

Mostly I have to agree with you. Emotions are the downfall of most battles. In their minds, as soon as their leader was cut down, especially that easily as your servant managed, they lost all hope and will to fight. Thus making it easy to pick the remaining forces apart. And so, cunning and strenght truly prevailed.

But indeed, I have to disagree in two parts.
The first is how I see them. She wouldn´t be humbled, the thought propably never ecen accured to her. Even only from this, I can see that they are a proud, free race. Those that are captured today, will one day free themself in a bloody rebellion. Those that are still free will plot and attack with pure stubborness. The Rasposa have won this battle true, but this stubborness will make the battle continue. As long as even one of them is free, as long one slave even only thinks about freedom, this war won´t be over. In time, the felines will adapt to the Raposa strategems, learn to combat then and defeat them. That is a law of battle. Never underestimate an enemy, no matter how the war goes.

The second is more of a personal preference. Strength and cunning, speed and agility, even bravery, all are needed in a battle, but all can also fail you. Only those who can turn off all emotion, can fully be subsumed in the unit they serve in, are the only thing you can truly rely on. An army, fully organized, each one a part of the whole. Unmoving, no matter what happens. Warriors that can march on over their fallen comrades without an even tiny pause. Unflinching even if the man beside them gets torn to shreds. Fulfilling their duty no matter what transpired around them. No retreat, no second thought. Doing whatever their commander commands. That is what I will create on Peres. Obedience of body, mind and soul.

The catfolk fought bravely, not one of them attempting flight. They knew that the Lord was watching from on high, and cried, as they died, for vengence.
And Moarzed wept as the army of his creation was either slain or captured.
One day, the catfolk would cry in victory above the corpses of the Raposa, this the Lord swore.

"An army that is like a giant machine will conquer all of its foes, that is certainly true. They will march over every fortress, defeat every army, but what happens when the war is over? No, I cultivate strength and cunning within my people so that in both war and peace they will rule over the weak.

Take the humble ant as an example. They swarm over every problem in their path, but there is no such thing as an ant genius, an ant who wields his power with such finesse that the whole anthill bows to him, an ant who creates wonders beyond comprehension. These things can only happen when there is one man with both strength and cunning, and the will to use them. The genius is a precious jewel that cannot be seen when he is placed in a unit and expected to die for his fellow. A genius makes others die for him, you see. But I digress.

Peres, you said? I will be watching, divinity, and I will be taking notes. After all, everyone has their own form of genius. Even I can occasionally learn things, as impossible as this may seem."

Pyric creates a connection of every living thing on the planet Gade to it's planet's firey core, and connects that core to the hearths of any home on the planet, allowing his people's ancestors to watch over and guide their family, and not tax the elder god, whoever he may be.
Pyric creates a magic weave on the planet Gade to offer his subjects a greater connection to magic, should they learn to, or through force of spirit tap into it.

Hodari creates Kobolds. Created Warlocks among the kobold race.

Seln enchanted the walls of the great hall to ward off unwanted visitors.
Seln creates a race of skeletons, to be his elites. They are called The Cado Sanctus, and they are quite fearsome in appearance. They are tall, skeletal humans, with bat-like wings. They have large fangs, and are mildly proficient in combat, but most importantly: They have necromatic powers.

Hrothlar Creates wise, civilized Hero/demigod King Draco.
Hrothlar sends Draco to teach the humans.

Reloark gives his planet plants and water.
Reloark then creates many different kinds of animals, mostly carnivorous.

The Elegant Nova creates the Exalted Machines - Raposa minds (and brains) intered in custom-made mechanical bodies.
The Elegant Nova creates the SOUL FORGE, which must always be written in BOLD CAPS and yelled with a booming voice. The artifact provides limitless energy, and runs on the souls of everything that dies on Maxim.

Tendrallis creates a planet circling the sun in the golden zone, and named it Tender. The world resembled earth, with large oceans, sprawling savannas and high mountains
Tendrallis then flew down to the planet and, landing atop the highest peak he created a plateau upon which rose a huge Palace made of marble, housing various chambers of worship for the soon to be Cult of Tendrellis. In the center was a thin tower of marble reaching right to the very edge of the atmosphere with a circular staircase carved in the side, exposed to the open air. Atop the tower was a Marble throne upon which Tendrallis seated himself.

Moarzed Create the Tiger Tribe.
Moarzed begins the training of The Paw of Moarzed (Clerics).

Lohkir creates a planet.

Ringen creates life upon the planet
Ringen creates an intelligent race know as the Volk

The Overgod was pleased. There was still souls coming in, but he could see the gods efforts to stop the flow. He smiled, and went to take a nap... Until a massive wave of pain hit him. He flailed around in the void for a few seconds, until he got under control.

He glared, and followed the pain to a largish planet called Maxim. He observed a large battle, with the.. Raposa, he learned with divine power, winning. He saw some sort of mechanical creature wading through catfolk, smashing and cleaving them, with a army helping him. He saw the mechanical thing impale one, and send him flying against a tree. As the catfolk died, his soul came to shelter with Vamor, cuasing him pain. Grrr. The overgod picked up a surprised Raposa soldier as he was about to stab a catfolk, and threw him in the face of the mech. Not for any reason besides he felt strong and he was in pain. One less soul that would bother him. He was furious at both sides for warring and causing strife and pain, but it was in their nature. Its only one planet, it didn't hurt that bad...

Silunus
He descends upon Eselen and notices that different types of people have begun to spring up in the various parts. He collects twelve of his highest priests and imparts them with divine power. Each goes throughout the lands, spreading his word. 500 normal people join each, and they in turn are blessed, in a manner reminiscent of Silunus and his priests. Silunus uses more of his power to divert their souls from the Soulstones, instead, these 6000 souls will be reincarnated. Each of the groups of 500, called Brotherhoods, specialized in some sort. The Five Elemental Brotherhoods specialize in the manipulation of the five elements. They also have jurisdiction over the storms of their respective elements. The Brotherhoods of Life and Death specialize in childbirth, death, healing, assassination, and the Soulstones. The other Brotherhoods are Luck, Magic, War, Peace, and Technology.

Reloark

And I´ll be watching the situation here on this planet. A war for the domination of it, two races locked in an eternal struggle.

Now then dear Nova, I have taken enough of your time already as it is. I bid you my farewell.

And so, with a last look onto the battlefield, Reloark turned to leave. The last thing he saw was a Raposa flying at the Steward. He shrugged his shoulders, not knowing what had happend there.

Thus He walked back to Peres, to continue His creation.

Tendrellis smiled as he surveyed his planet. No all he needed were subjects. Questing his senses out he found humans on the planet Gade. After a time he found a tribe, war-like, almost extinct and as of yet untouched by the wise Dragon. He felt in them a thrist for power, And with a gesture he implanted in them an idea, merely a few images of the greatness his previous civilisation and the bliss that came with it.

Spurred on by this force the humans gained a knowledge of a magic ritual, a chanting that required the whole tribe, and after days of fasting and meditation Tendrellis deemed them worthy and teleported them to Tender, and the foothills of the highest mountain.

he whispered into their minds, 'You have all seen the greatness you could achieve, and with my hand it is possible, however there is required a test, only those who make it to my Palace will be blessed, and their families protected.'

And so the tribe began to expand, un-opposed by other humans they tried and every generation the fittest of the young warriors would attempt to climb the mountain however as of yet none have succeed.

On Gade
Draco awakes in his tent to the sound of heavy footsteps at the door. Shouts were rising, clamoring over the blanket of silence Draco had enjoyed. The neighs and whinnies of horses were an overpowering sound. The King's hand grasped for his spear, and he held it towards the entrance of the tent.

One of his own men threw open the door. He was a soldier, the cook for their camp, and dressed in thick leather skins. He had an iron sword strapped to his thigh. Iron was something the United Tribes of Draconis prided themselves in. The sight of such weapons made most enemies shirk away in fear and peaceably join the growing nation--which was good with King Draco.

"General! Sir! Sir!"

The cook was wheezing and coughing, his hair was slung across his face.

"Sir! Sir! Sir!"

"Out with it, man, what is it?"

"Sir!" There was an impossibly large pause. The wheezing stopped, and the man's blue eyes locked themselves in Draco's coal-black ones. "Sky-beast, sir. Approaching. Dragon." The cook collapsed in a heap on the floor.

King Draco stepped over him, and saw his men running in disarray.

"The King is here!" One shouted. "To arms, men! Grab your sling and bow! Get the king his sword! Get the king his sword!"

The blacksmith fetched the sword, barely cooled in the forge, and carried it to Draco, who accepted the blade.

At the end of the encampment, a massive wingspan had formed the menacing creature into sort of a cross-shaped silhouette against the dawn sky. The dragon was red, and fierce, and had belly and back covered in scales as large as tower-shields. Lines of men formed with sling and bow. The dragon fell onto the ground, clutched sword-length claws into the dirt, and folded it's wings behind it's body.

King Draco held his sword at his side, and made careful steps towards the beast with his naked feet. When he had crossed half the distance, the knuckles on his sword-hand grew white for a moment, and the next, his hand loosened and the sword fell onto the dirt. His army gasped, men raised their bows. Their commanders calmed them.

"No," they said. "No one strikes before the King. Ever."

Draco stood at the foot of the beast. Craned his head back as far as it would go and shouted, in a tongue loud enough for all his men to hear but for only the dragon to understand..

"Almah Ssalamadar, gothu'n merryl morian massanduh?"
("Is the Dragon-Nation willing to shed the animosity between itself and mankind?")

Not a sound followed, save the tightening of bowstrings and the notching of more arrows. After a long time, the dragon stepped back. It pressed mighty shoulders forward and let it's long neck glide to the floor, until it's man-sized head was pressed, nose first, onto the ground. The King turned, and bowstrings loosened themselves.

"My men, let it be known from today on that the Dragon-Kin are our friends, and that we should learn from them as much as we can, and share our own secrets as well. Today, an alliance between man and dragons has been formed, and may it never break."

Hrothlar

Hrothlar is pleased with the work of his son, Draco, but displeased by the fact that the tribal-states of Draco's nation live in the squalor of tents and yurts, with only mud-houses in the larger of farming towns. Knowing this would not do, Hrothlar fashions from the rocks of the mountains a hardy, sturdy race whom would be experts in stone-craft, mining, and general construction. They would be hardworking but also merry with drink and song. He called them dwarves and sent them to the mountains of Gade.

Hrothlar smiles and resumes his study of a book of curiously written pages of parchment, interspersed with illustration which he had borrowed from some neighboring dimension of space. The pages were backwards and in Latin, which was a curious way to write even on the planet where it was written. Hrothlar was amazed by the ingenuity of the writer, and elects to impart some of the knowledge on his creatures. From his Dwarves, he selects the smartest, and lifts him into space. Surveying him until he was satisfied with his choice, Hrothlar bestows unto him the knowledge of the notebooks, and creates from the simply Dwarf a mighty architect, thinker, and inventor.

Very good, Hrothlar thinks.

"My second son, I name you Yoric Stonecutter and make you King of the Dwarves on Gade, so that you may ally yourself with the humans and teach them the wonders of construction."

Finishing his work, Hrothlar smiles and places the Dwarf-King in a mountain conveniently close to King Draco's encamped army.

Through boredom Lohkir found himself watching the war between the Catfolk and the Childe of Nova. The war Chaotic, pointless, and full of blood. It was the perfect show. Lohkir noticed one thing in particular. A female catfolk named <Vinodayna>. Her name fit. Her movements in battle were fast, unsuspecting, and relentless. She however was often lusted by male catfolk much to her annoyance. Lohkir could see there point. Her body was curvy yet athletic. She also had a personality about her. A personality worthy of a Warrior-Queen she was however unappreciated in her Tribe and while recognized for her skill and prowess in battle she was simply a pawn and if she died a virgin she would become a Wife of Moarzed. We can't have that now can we?

It was {night time} Lohkir snuck into her camp. No one noticed him as they were all asleep. He walked into Vinodayna's tent and touched her face which completely woke her up. She seemed startled but not enough to call for help. "Who are you?" She asked as she looked into the ocean-colored eyes of Lohkir. "I am the man who's fury you are named after. The man who has watched you from my palace and saw you grow into the warrior you are. And now as I lay you down to sleep, I give you a gift." Lohkir breathed on her neck, his cold breath relaxing her as he indeed spent that night giving her a gift. A son.

Reloark

Soon Reloark reached Peres and looked down onto it. All had happend as forseen. The animals had spread, food chains had established and each of the regions held unique challenges for would-be settlers.

In the wide savannah, with no place to hide from possible prey, only the speedy survived. Like the Skrek, a two legged bird-like animal, which charged across the plains, killing it´s prey with their two sharp beaks while passing it.
Only the cunning and trickery survived in the swamps, where one false step could mean the end, and non were as cunning as the Blree, a large and colourfull insect, that would lure predators onto treacherous ground using looks, sounds and smell, letting it kill the hunter, to finally feast upon the slowly rotting flesh.
In the woods on the hills prey and hunter alike collected in packs and smaller groups. There was enough food there for all so that region was relativly peaceful. If you ignored the Lushru at least, a lupine beings, each about 6 feet tall, hunting in groups between seven and ten.
On the high mountains the strong and resilient reigned alone, feasting on anything they came across. Like the Orler, a giant, crablike creature with six pincers.

He agreed to what He saw. Thus He took dry dust from the plains, mud from the marshes, earth from the hills and finally stone from the mountains. Taking these ingredients, He formed a being in His hands.
But as He formed it, His own form changed with it. His armours colour became dull, looking less like metal and more like chitin. Another pair of arms grew and each hand He possesed ended in only four fingers. New plates of armour appeared on His figure, but instead of fully covering as before, it only covered His torso and the front of his legs and arms. His old helmet fell apart, exposing an insect like face, only to be replaced by a new one. This covered most of His face again, exept His eyes and His now fangfilled mouth, which was covered by two mandiples. Such was His new form and it was His form now, forever in the future and forever in the past.. Soon after His change, He finished his work. On His hands were insectoid beings. Standing on four legs, having two arms, a face similar to that of Reloark and of a light brown colour, they looked up to Him. Thus He said

You are the Krelkos, this is your home. Subdue it, make it yours. One part of it for each of you. So commands Reloark.

He divided the Krelkos into four groups and took each into one of His fists. Throwing them onto His planet, each one hit another region.

One hit deep in the savannah and cracked open the earth. Soon water came out of this crack, an oasis forming at the very spot He released the first group.
One hit deep in the marshes. Such was the force of His fist that the water was pushed out from the earth around the impact, froming a place of dry earth. He released the second group.
One hit a hill, driving deep into the earth. A caldera formed and made it a natural wall against all intruders. He released the third group.
One hit the mountains and crashed through the stone into a natural cave. He released the fourth group.

And so Peres was populated by the Krelkos.

1 ACT Creation of a sentient species and delivering them onto Peres.

The bodlily change of Reloark is somewhat of a Retcon. Other gods should still recognize him though. For a God, his one body is just a plaything.
The reason behind it is simple. A humanoid being commanding a race of insects just doesn´t sound right to me. Of course I will adjust the appearance of Reloark in his Description.

In the sky above Maxim, Moarzed seethed with rage as Lohkir gave 'gifts' to his creation. He considered striking down His unfaithful servant on the spot, but decided against it. The child of the sacreligious union would walk a road fraught with peril and strife, and would never find peace in this world.
And such Moarzed himself could not be bothered with ruining the heathen's life, so he would need someone to do it for him...

Meanwhile, on Maxim, in the capital, the young daughter of Tansania of the Tiger, Minerva, was mourning the defeat of the catfolk army. Moarzed saw his creation and knew that there was one way to fight a demigod. Another demigod. And so Moarzed descended and sweeped Minerva away, and gave her a 'gift' of his own, also a son.

The child of his union with Vinodayna grew up quickly compared to most Catfolk. His fur was something of a topaz color and like his father had Ocean-Colored eyes. With both the teachings of his Tribe and his Father he became a great warrior and was given the name <Fydan>. Constantly training his skills to one day win the war again the Raposa. He does not know about his linage yet as Lohkir has not told him that he is a god. Fydan's powers still laid dormant, but Lohkir could feel a surge of power, he knew that would not be the case for long.

Most Timely Immortality Treatment For Glorious Patriarch

The Elegant Nova Of Innovation stood on the steps of Cold House, looking out into the blizzard. Though snow settled on her brass skin and lab coat, she was not concerned by it. She could not even feel the cold. Beside her stood Steward Of Incomparable Glories, and a puddle of melted snow was pooled around his iron feet.

And now, out of the blizzard he came, leaning on his staff heavily, accompanied by seven of his most trusted bodyguards. They stopped at the steps, but he continued onwards, until he stood level with his goddess.

"It has been a long time, my lady. And yet, you are still as beautiful as the day we met." He coughed behind his mask, holding his chest for a moment. "My successor has been chosen - one of my sons, one of my pure-blooded sons. He will lead them into a new age."

"You both will, Eijan. Come with me." Steward Of Incomparable Glories took Eijan's hand and led him up the stairs of Cold House. The doors closed behind him, and the seven turned and left the holy place, returning to serve their new king.

Inside Cold House, Eijan of Hawks, first king of the Raposa, looked upon his new body. It was made of polished metal, slimmer and less imposing than his sister-son's body. His features were stylized and youthful - as his goddess remembered him, from when they had made holy communion within her sanctum for the first time, in crowning him the new king. He reached out with trembling fingers, touching it.

"Does it hurt, Akaris?"
"Like nothing ever will again. Take heart! Soon, you shalt be beyond pain, and mortal frailties; only one more trial must be undertaken."
"Then let it be done. I have never shied away from pain in the service of my goddess."
"I know this full well, uncle. This is why thou art Exalted."

"Are you ready, Eijan?" Eijan, first king of the Raposa, turned with a weary smile. "Yes."

Almighty Industrial Revolution Of The Chosen People; All Glory To The Machine-Mother!

I. Now, in the days that the first king was reborn as Revered Adjudicator Of Ages, the chosen people did spread even farther over the surface of their rightful world.
II. And lo, the skies did burn black as their steam-engines pumped smoke into the sky, and the mountain-sides did glow bright with their fires.
III. Weapons they made, terrible weapons, each like its brother in production, spears and swords and axes. Bows too they made, in the shape of a cross, and unlike the weapons of the catfolk they were uniform and required no training to use.
IV. And cities they built, across the Adamant Mountains and along the highest heights of the plains beneath. Fortified they were, and their cathedrals and towers reached upwards to the sky. And when the catfolk entered within, they did so in chains, and never came back out.
V. Time itself they mastered, trapping within gears and crystal faces, first among the mortal races to begin a calandar and track time itself, counting by the ticks of the Holy Clock within the Cold House. Thus were they named the Time Lords by the superstitous catfolk, for who else could trap time itself?
VI. Glass they mastered, and the lightning itself they entrapped. They took to the sky in crafts of wood and paper, they directed their slaves to dig beneath the mountains to find metal and jewels. What could unseat them from their power and their majesty?
VII. For the Raposa, the Time Lords, looked upwards at the stars, and they recalled the words of Our Lady Of Science. And they resolved that all of the cosmos would one day be theirs.

1 Act to further advance the Raposa.

ILLUSTRIOUS PREGNANCY METHOD!

I. Our Lady Of Science has eyes that no other could match, and sensors that encompass the entire planet, the better to give us news of the movements of the catfolk, and to guide us in our raids against the catfolk.
II. So it came to pass that she saw a strain of divinity arise in a catfolk, and then a second, and she made a most holy hypothesis - that the genetic-morphic field of a divinity had been mixed with a mortal's, to create an individual who had a partial divine field.
III. Unwilling to be undone by the machinations of her fellow divinities, for she saw that these catfolk would be the undoing of her people in all due time, she made infathomable modifications to her body, after dissecting catgirl slaves to study their reproductive systems.
IV. This done, she summoned Malian a'Hawks, king of the Coming Storm, and ordered him to make holy communion with her, for she was fully functional. Unwilling to disobey his goddess, and undesiring to disobey after he saw the beauty of her metal body bared before him, he did so.
V. Taking his seed, Our Lady Of Science formed a child within her body, designing a perfect scion through all of her artifice. For a year she sequestered herself within Cold House, and none among the Raposa saw her, for she was devoted to perfecting her child.
VI. And upon the passage of a year and a day, she summoned the finest midwives among the Raposa, and she gave birth to the Holy Child. And the midwives saw things upon that day that were scarred 'pon their psyches forevermore.
VII. This done, Our Lady Of Science raised the Holy Child, marvelling at how her own genius and intellect had been passed on, and how the charisma and leadership of the a'Hawks lineage had been passed on as well, beyond her wildest performance estimates. And upon the fourteenth year of the Holy Child's life, Our Lady Of Science sent her out among her people, to ready them against the unholy children among the catfolk.
VIII. And such was the Holy Child's name: The Resplendent Blossom Of Divine Artifice, Maiden Of The Sciences, The Machine That Was Made Flesh. All hail her peerless beauty and boundless intelligence!

1 Act to use ILLUSTRIOUS PREGNANCY METHOD and birth the Demigod The Resplendent Blossom Of Divine Artifice, Maiden Of The Sciences, The Machine That Was Made Flesh.

Brother says he's discovered something very interesting in the lab today. He calls it 'Troia', Windtalk. I'm not sure what he means, but the spark was back in his eyes, so I just hugged him and told him congratulations.

From the book of the Panther
The war between Kobold and Hodran dragged on for many years. Many spirits were created, and military tactics of both Hodrans and Kobolds became more complex, and all the while they sought new ways to harm each other. And so it came to pass that one day, a Hodran shaman of the Bahd branch was experimenting with the spirits he controlled, and discovered a way to send messages from Hodran to Hodran via the spirits. Such quick, easy communication that could traverse the entire jungle in moments made coordinating assaults far simpler than before. The Hodran people did rejoice at this discovery, and Hodari smiled upon them.

But around this time the kobolds, too, discovered something: the kobolds learned of a composition of metals and earth that could explode with just a little spark. It is unknown precisely how they did this, but the results are unmistakeable.

1stAct: The Hodran people discover a method for near instantaneous data transfer over a vast area. They call it 'Troia'. We call it 'the internet'. While it is capable of sending messages it is incapable of storing information and can only be used effectively if shamans are the ones sending messages.

2ndAct: The kobolds invent 'Akan': what we know as 'gunpowder'.

3rdAct: The military tactics of both Hodrans and Kobolds become more complex.

Tensions on Maxim
One day on Maxim...
The young prince Leonix, the spawn of Moarzed, sought out his friend and confidant Fydan, the secret child of Lohkir. The child of The King of Cats said to his Fydan,
Brother, my mother grows old, and soon the throne will be mine, as first king of Maxim. I'd be honored to have you as my general, Fydan of the Tiger. No homo.

The title 'of the Tiger' was honor enough as Fydan was not originally of that tribe, but to be asked to be THE General to the king was astounding. He of corse reacted with composure and tradition. Grabing the shaft no homo of his spear and places it horizontally in the air as custody when taking an oath. "It would be my honor, to serve you no homo as your general."

Thank you, brother. It may be many years until Queen Minerva dies, but when she does, the two of us will rule, annd we will reclaim the lands lost four generations ago. It is a shame that my mother is not the warrior Tansania was, or else we would have already retaken those lands, but the Black's are still organizing into armies, the gingers are still making weapons, and soon the Paw of Moarzed will be ready to aid us. Also, my father has promised us a great ally, and a weapon so great that even the Daemons of the Raposa <The Exalted Machines> will be defenseless aginst us. All in due time, the Raposans will not know what hit them.

(A note: catfolk live, at this point, about 60 years.)

Citizen, This Transcript Is Classified; Please Report Yourself To The Slave Markets At Your Earliest Convenience

TRBODA: Everything our civilization stands on is on the precipice. You might believe me to be a sensationalist, but this would be a mistake. Examine these.
PFI: Where did you find these?
TRBODA: My mother gave them to me; her instruments are capable of spying on the catfolk effortlessly, and seeing into the aethereal plane... but that information must die with you. Suffice to say that my mother does not make mistakes.
PFI: ...Fascinating. They are planning a full-scale assault?
TRBODA: One that will make the Battle of the Pass look like a spat between children.
JBa'R: More to the point, what do we do?
TRBODA: I am designing several weapons that will turn the tide of the war in our favor, but we will wait until they begin to strike to nullify their threat.
PFI: What? Why?
TRBODA: We need an event to rally around, Patrician. The destruction of an entire metropolis? That will work. Then... I have predicted several outcomes. Their complete conquering would be a less than satisfactory outcome, as would a significant reduction in our power via the destruction of multiple metropoli. But the plan I intend to pursue involves a faux show of force, and the enslavement of a metropolis - and perhaps the capture of a faux army - and then an appeasement. Lull them into growing weak, teach them the benefits of slavery, and then force them into a vicious cycle of conflict and enslavement.
JBa'R: And how will this benefit us? It would be better to wipe them out completely.
TRBODA: That would risk the wrath of a furious god, Justicar. Moarzed, creator of this planet. The complete enslavement and eradication of his people would provoke an unfortunate emotional response.
JBa'R: So you plan to manipulate a god?
TRBODA: Precisely. And any Raposa weak and foolish enough to be unable to escape at ease from the catfolk is one that we do not need in our perfect society.
PFI: It still seems dangerous.
TRBODA: Which is why I will bear the brunt of the danger myself, Patrician. Do not worry; the Machine-Mother smiles upon us.

Torr
Torr began crafting a large army of folk, humans like that other planet, for his own use. However, he didn't intend for them to come to life just yet, unfortunatley he had accidently brought them to life with a song. The strange words which would have been incomprehensible to anyone else hearing them, sparked the energies of Torr's world, and had brought thousands of the statues to life.

After the Lord taught us the Enlightened Paw and the Enlightened Fang, the Lord gave us the order of The Enlightened Eye. The Enlightened Paw was the shield of the catfolk, the Enlightened Fang the sword. The Eye focused the divine energies given from The Lord to create protective entities called the Kiynteyh, which means Guardian in the language of the catfolk. Each Eye had a specific Kiynteyh to them, and they each took a different form. They ranged from huge cats to birds to foxes that mocked the Raposa in form. And Moarzed had created the Kiynteyh from his essence, and felt weak from creating so many. The Fang focused bolts of raw, primal chaos and launched them at foes. The Paw created walls of energy to protect the catfolk from their foes.

And Leonix and Fydan watched, and knew that when the time was right for the two to rule, the Calico Priests would be a valuable asset.

Act 2: Advance the clerial magic of the Calicos, creating a third order of casters, the Eyes of Moarzed.
Act 3: Impart divine essence to create the Guardians, or Kiynteyh, to be summoned by chosen Calico casters.

And now I'm out of actions.:smalltongue:. Finally used up that extra one from when I spent one turn only making fish.

Reloark

He looked upon Peres. The Krelkos were spreading and diffrent tribes had already emerged. But with the growing of His race, the lack of a fitting afterlife became a poblem.

And so Reloark created a tower, located on the mountain that He Himself had flattend and hidden from mortal eyes. It had the same height like the mountain it stood upon. This was to be His fortress, His resting place. His Black Spike. There those souls, who obeyed His laws, would serve Him directly How they´d serve would be depending on their duties in life.

Below the Spike tunnels carved deep into the earth. At their very ends those souls who had soiled His laws or disobeyed their leaders would forever toil in mines. Mining materials only to put them back in. An etearnity of useless labor. At least those were the only punishment for now.

When He was done, He took His place on the throne of the Spike. From there He overlooked the whole planet.

1 Act creation of an afterlife, good and bad, amd Reloarks new home in one stroke.

Illuminated Messenger Of Tweets Brings Sabotage Plans To The Accursed Chaos God

There are annoying noises. There are very annoying noises. And then there is the playing of Asgeran a'Wolve's Symphony in Brass Minor in tweets and chirps.

Twitter alights on Moarzed's shoulder, extending a brass claw in which is held a parchment scroll. Once unfolded, the scroll is revealed as a complete blueprint of the defenses of Metropolis Akain, on the Plains of Amber, which incidentally happens to be the closest and most heavily defended city to Leonix's forces. And every defense is dissected and laid bare, every secret route is detailed, every weakness is highlighted and explained.

A note is pinned to it with a brass needle, and these are the words: For your son. Love. It's signed with a gear and a little heart.

Perhaps it's best if no mortal ever sees that note.

The King of Cats raises an eyebrow in shock.
Elegant Nova had the hots for him???:smalltongue:
This is very strange. Why would she reveal the defenses of an entire city? We will see what becomes of this.
Apparently the goddess of innovation also knows that Leonix is my child...
I wonder how she learned... and if she followed the example.
Moarzed pondered this.

The fact that she knows about the demigods is just mildly unerving. The heart in the signature and the 'love' part is what scares me most. Apparently she's fully functional or something.
