Hi everyone I was just wondering if anyone can give me some thoughts on a character I plan on building. We're playing a campaign starting from first level that will be about 4 players, and we will all be gestalt characters. We'll be using the E6 style system of d&d http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=352719. I would like to play a something/wizard. I was thinking either warblade(if dm allows it)/wizard or monk/wizard with the kung fu genius feat.
My main question is about the warblade at low levels. I've never actually played a tome of battle character, but I the refreshable abilities would work nicely when I run out of wizard spells. The problem is I don't really know how to make a decent low level warblade, mainly what stances and maneuvers would be fun or useful.
Also, we'll probably have fairly competent damage dealers in melee, so I probably won't really be swordmaging it up, probably more sleep/web/fireballin. The monk would give me better maneuverability, and probably a better AC (dex, int for spells and ac, mage armor). The int to ac would go even more, because I think we get 1 point to put in a stat at each of the first six levels. So a monk would give me, without magic items an ac of 25 by 6th level (mage armor 4, int of 24 (base 18) 7, and dex of 16 - 3, one for monk evels). I figure a warblade will only have somewhere around 17. Anyway, I would appreciate any thoughts or advise on this somewhat rambling question.
