Noted on the posting schedule.

[roll0]

My character: Incarnom-nom-nom (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=214212)

Hues looks fine, except that the feat I think you wanted to list is "Shape Soulmeld (Rageclaws)", not "Ragemeld soulclaws."

Wizibirb
2010-06-10, 09:02 PM
DO you wish me to change this or does it really matter?

Edit -
I am not qualified to check your sheet, however I will assume you have everything in order.

AlterForm
2010-06-10, 09:06 PM
Doesn't matter for this. Just in case you ever used it in a real arena character.

Ready to go?

Wizibirb

I am indeed though I think I am not going to last long.

AlterForm

If you don't mind, I'm going to grab a club at the last moment. They're free, so...why not?

AlterForms character is very similar to what I had initially in mind, but in the end I wanted something more exotic and attacking touch AC isn't worth that much since nobody can afford good armor. Certainly competent though

AlterForm

Trigger my readied action
Move to J-14 K-15 since I can't read a map. Ikeep thinking I was somewhere else. that and I can't keep a strait line sorry.(I believe is the square.. that puts me right next to you correct. I apologize I have trouble reading the map.)

Is dissolving spittle a ranged attack and provoke an AoO?

if so attempt to trip.

Yes, it's ranged and provokes. 4 dex, 3 law devotion, and 2 for the pillar puts my touch AC at 19, narrowly avoiding nigh-certain doom.

It is a melee touch attack I do believe I hit
and besides does the pillar give +2 to touch ac? and law devotion also gives touch? man law devotion is good if it does.

if you don't mind though i am getting a ref

AlterForm
2010-06-11, 04:51 PM
Touch attacks only deny armor, shield, and natural armor bonuses to AC; the pillar's bonus is untyped and law devotion provides a sacred or profane bonus (would Joss Whedon be Lawful or Chaotic?).

TheFallenOne
2010-06-11, 04:59 PM
Alter is right, Touch only ignored Armor/Shield/Natural Armor. Though since now it is your turn you do have another chance to deliver pain :smallwink:

Whedon is lawful, his treatment of lovable characters is too consistent for him to be chaotic

Wizibirb
2010-06-11, 05:04 PM
huh.... if that is so, I guess I take 5 damage and it is now my turn.

Try that again

I can't win If I can't hit

I think there are several character concepts that can prove this to be wrong

Incarnom - Round 3

I think there are several character concepts that can prove this to be wrong

Winning without hitting, or winning without needing to hit? Kelgore spam and Fellcheese fit the latter, but I can't come up with anything for the former.

Not sure if I keep my previous attack roll or have to make a new one.

What, you don't although you play a character called Incarnom?

There's a Soulmeld that does fire damage to everyone attacking you in melee(Mantle of Flame). So against meleers you can win while just twiddling your thumb if you're tough enough :smalltongue: Add Deflect Arrows or Block Arrow and ranged attacks are no issue as well, so you just have to worry about casters and reach weapons

TheFallenOne
2010-06-11, 05:23 PM
you keep it, though theoretically you're allowed to change your standard action since you got interrupted on your move action

AlterForm
2010-06-11, 05:24 PM
Actions remain the same, except that I end prone in L15 instead of L12.

At least commoners die fast.

TheFallenOne
2010-06-11, 05:31 PM
that sums up the experiences of every DM trying to simulate a commoner uprising against monstrous humanoid occupiers

Wizibirb

How many time can you use that stupid thing?

and my last chance.
[roll0]

[roll1] (min damage really really typical)

TheFallenOne
2010-06-11, 05:43 PM
Dissolving spittle works as often as he wants. Incarnum stuff

At least you hit with -4 prone AC

AlterForm
2010-06-11, 05:44 PM
21 AC ... less 4 for being prone ... makes that a hit. Astral Vambraces take 4 off the damage, reducing it to 3.

[EDIT]: We were supposed to take the Commoner class, not Ninja. :smalltongue:

Wizibirb
2010-06-11, 05:48 PM
I do believe that drops me down to a -12... with your attack.

and you have Dr 4..... wow... damn. How do I beat that? O wait I don't. is this a single elimination?

AlterForm
2010-06-11, 05:50 PM
You pretty much had to hit me twice. I might have been better off taking Rageclaws instead of that extra point of Essentia. Oh well.

GG; had me scared for a bit when I saw you were rocking rageclaws.

Pretty sure we're doing a double elim mini-tourney.

TheFallenOne
2010-06-11, 05:53 PM
yeah, double elimination. Just think it's a 2on2, only 1 player per team

well with you done you can provide LoS for Psidog and me to speed things up :smallwink:

Wizibirb
2010-06-11, 05:54 PM
Well I rolled way to many twos (well one but same difference) to hit you twice.

The dice were not on my side this time. Good game. I enjoyed it.

And yes rageclaws is beautiful and It allowed me to get in their.
I just could not beat your ac.

Wizibirb
2010-06-11, 06:04 PM
Question what happens when you are not proficient with the armor you are wearing?

TheFallenOne
2010-06-11, 06:07 PM
A character who is wearing armor with which she is not proficient applies its armor check penalty to attack rolls and to all skill checks that involve moving, including Ride.

so everyone can wear leather or masterwork studded leather without penalty(except spell failure), even commoners

Wizibirb
2010-06-11, 06:08 PM
So that is what it does.... Thanks
