I don't get it. Am I missing something?
What is ylang ylang, anyway?

It was explained in the stickied thread, but I soppose one cannot read all, so...
It was the make-up that Haley got from the Sisterhood of Aton (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0711.html) based on ylang-ylang flower.
The boxes of moisturizer were left at the abduction site.

Um, what? Designer jewellery smells?

Fine, it's a scent. I forgot about that strip. Why can Belkar smell it in this strip? How did the scent get into this scene? We teleported away from the pile of cosmetics. (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0716.html)

Haley held the dagger while wearing the perfume. She was also near the bounty hunter. The same scent on the dagger is now on the bounty hunter.

Remember, Belkar has an almost dog-like sense of smell.

Um... maybye because they never teleported away with the boxes, the bounty hunters have been near the parfume, and Belkar's a halfing wich have good senses of smell, and havealways had that in this comic? I dunno.

EDIT: blueblade, how dd you do that "let me google it for you"-thing? Nevermind, I figured it out.

Uhm,...

Haven't you heard of 'Azure Bonds' and Saurials? It's a book (novel) about the ADnD Forgotten Realms 'world' and lizard-like people (among other tramas). Those lizard-like folks communicate through emanating various scents, i.e. 'freshly baked bread' means 'I'm afraid' if I recall well. The novel was actually a part of a trilogy, Finder's Stone. The other books were 'The Wyvern Spur' and 'Song of the Saurials',

Seriously. Third mention of ylang-ylang in the last eighteen strips, and not only is the current discussion thread stuffed with people asking what it means, it now gets its own thread as well.

Sheesh.

Here's a better link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cananga_odorata

Belkar can smell it because Haley was wearing it when she was abducted, and some of it rubbed off on the bounty hunters.

Apparantly people think it's the stuff mysteries and enigmas and so on are made of..

On these forums, I'm still pleasantly surprised that nobody asked who the two bald guys in the last panel are.

Sheesh.

It is worth bearing in mind that each of the strips have been a couple of days apart and some people don't read each one more than once. Three mentions in eighteen strips when those eighteen strips have taken a couple of weeks? I'm willing to give reprieves to people who may have forgotten. Besides, this is by no means as bad as the Vaarsuvius gender threads or something like that, so let's not get too wound up about this.

I only see one bald guy, the black dude. Which is the other one?

EDIT: Oh, the lizard just above the black guy. Sorry.

Actually, someone in the main discussion thread beat you all, and he seems to have been serious. :smallsigh:
