That Web is indeed strange. I just looked under prepared spells and didn't notice it

@Scorer:Random knew I was there (Refs/Wendy/LOS). I can only think of two ways this could happen.

Either he's cheating, or he was told that LOS was established.

I seriously doubt the former, so I can only reason that you must have told him that he had LOS.

Now, there's no cover, no concealment, no way he could have been hiding... So why is it that the time you inform someone else of LOS is 2-3 posts before the time you inform me of the same piece of information?

If it's a goof, that's cool. I can understand. But if that's a policy, it seems like a rather silly one.

I did told him. I told him first than you because of how you worded your readied action. If you had worded your readied action to do whatever on LoS, then I would have told you first to see if you take your readied action, and then inform him of your movement.

So, no, neither I goofed... (at least this time hehehehe) nor is he cheating

Scorer:Just a reminder; Veldryn can't see that Wendy has a readied action. You can only see it at the time of readying; if LoS is established afterward, you don't know it's there.

@Scorer:I'm just saying that when you stopped play to let him know he stumbled into my LOS, a courtesy spoiler informing me that he moved into my field of vision (and where) would have been appreciated. It wouldn't have changed any steps you had to make, would it? I mean, it's not like he could have taken back walking into my LOS, right?

And I'd know exactly where I got LOS. Did he come from the D1-D3? Did he come from D12-D15?

I haven't gotten all the information I should have... Namely, where he came from. And the only reason I know where he's at is that he told me that he finished movement in C9.

Follow that with the posting activity of Veldryn, and the changed initiative order... And I'm guessing that Veldryn had a readied action. I hope Blaze can get a lick or two in before Veldryn crushes him. Every HP Veld doesn't have increases my chances to one shot him. Based on where I saw them last, if I go up the east side, I may be able to help burn down Veld in a pincer attack.

Oh crap... I might have just disqualified myself with a stupid mistake. This is only my second time in the Arena, first time as a Wizard. In normal PbP games when I cast a spell I remove it from my list of prepared spells because A) it's no longer prepared and B) it makes it easier to remember what I've cast. I just did it out of habit. Same with the Mage Armor spell. The way I see it one of three things can happen now. 1 I lose both of the spells to no effect because it was my own fault I deleted them, but still get to continue. 2 I can put them back on the sheet and start listing the spells I've used in my stats spoiler and we can chalk it up to being new here still, or 3 I've disqualified myself by altering my sheet after the beginning of a match. All three seem reasonable (though I'd certainly rather go with #2) so what should we do?

Nevermind, checked for myself. Did his path of movement, since he was in L-15, when I moved to L-14 from my readied, looking at his redone turn he stated that he moved to K-13 instead. Does that call for an AoO?
I can understand if he wishes to change that little part, since my attack would have been considered a hit and the damage would have knocked him out.

It never says failure provokes the AoO. and since the wording is "Casting a spell while on the defensive does not provoke an attack of opportunity." and he did just that (regardless of failing or not the check) he does not provoke AoO.

GotSQ = Gift of the Spider Queen, It is found in DotU p.50 (I think, I am AFB). It allows me to sacrifice daily uses of my spell-like abilities to gain a additional abilities based on which spell-like abilities I sacrifice. By sacrificing a daily use of Faerie Fire and Dancing Lights, I am allowed to cast Mirror Image, as an immediate action which I am using in place of my swift, gaining 1-4 images for 1 minute/caster level. It follows the same rules as the Mirror Image spell for the AC and such of the images.
I have used this before, when Veldryn's original design was a swordsage. I think it is a very nice feat, please look it over and give me your opinion. Is there anything else you need?

My Turn (Refs/LOS):Ruminations (Refs, Observers only):Well he broke LOS, so he could be hiding, but that was over half movement, so he'd be rolling -3 vs my +5 at 15 feet. I'm not sure exactly what a +7 advantage means for my chances of success, but I think it's too good for him to try a long shot risk. Even so, I've got a spare move action this turn, so I might as well use it on an active spot attempt.

So I'll assume he's either in G18 or G19. Last turn he readied an action, so I'm guessing this time he will too. I'm also nearly positive he didn't see me last turn, cause I'm within range of a 40 foot move and a color spray. So, now I have to try to pull a fast one.

@Refs:Shouldn't I have seen Veldryn at E20 or F20, BEFORE he saw me? And shouldn't my readied action have triggered there, where I would have been neither seen, nor taken an AoO for the movement?

I don't make an issue of minor points, but this one is a big one. Was he really lucky with a hide or something?

I only state this because my readied action was to be used to sneak around the pillar I'm on to be on the other side, where he just came from, and he'd have never known I was there, and would have kept moving right on. That's totally borked now.
