Recently created a character for a Spelljammer campaign and wrote these up for him:


Phlogisong
You can project your voice through Phlogiston.
Prerequisite: Bardic music class feature, Perform (sing) 4 ranks.
Benefit: By inhaling the substance of the Flow you may use bardic music while in phlogiston. This pushes the existing air from your lungs, so that you may only continue your bardic music for as long as you can do without air or the duration specified in the music text, whichever comes first. However, the nature of this medium enhances and hurls the sound much farther than normal, effectively increasing the range of your bardic music 4 times normal.

Wildspace Mantle
Granted Ability: You may expend your psionic focus to freshen the air within your envelope. This only has effect in areas where you generate an envelope of air by your existence, such as Wildspace.

Display: Olfactory
Manifesting Time: 1 full-round action

Duration: Permanent
Power Points: 1

This power generates a bubble of fresh air around you from your own breath or phlogiston itself. If you are drifting in space, this permits another die roll for the duration of the fresh air of its air envelope.

The power pushes out any foul air in your envelope. The power has no significant effect if cast within a larger air envelope or a world’s atmosphere unless a high altitude, when it negates the need to make fortitude saves against altitude sickness. It also has the ability to drive away the air befouled by such spells as stinking cloud or cloudkill. Cast upon an individual within the area of effect of such bad-air magic, it allows a single clean breath (giving that subject another save, if a previous save failed, or negating the need for a saving throw altogether for that round, as applicable).

Create Air does not increase the size of a ship’s air envelope. The excess air is pushed out into space.

The mere fact that this is Spelljammer is enough to elevate it to win. But that it's for new edition psionics (i.e. the wildspace mantle), blends old and new perfectly. Well done. :smallbiggrin:
