Your mermaid destroyed my Howling Insect (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Howling_Insect), which then allows me to call another insect minion to the field. I summon Infernity Beetle (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Infernity_Beetle)!
Now it's my turn. I summon Ground Spider (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Ground_Spider) and tune with Infernity Beetle!
A mottled brown spider appears on the cavern floor. The beetle transforms into two black stars, which latch onto the spider. The spider's four stars turn black as it is devoured by the beetle.
Dark fire and treacherous shadow, spawn forth the face of Lolth's accursed! I Synchro Summon Underground Arachnid (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Underground_Arachnid), and I use her ability to absorb your Mermaid Archer!
Out of the black stars a drider appears, giving an unearthly shriek. It pulls the mermaid forward with its web and devours it.
Now, my Underground Arachnid will attack directly, and I end my turn with another facedown.
