The only way I got my wife to read OotS with me was with the guarantee that there was a stopping point. I had asked you guys earlier and #400 was the sweet spot. They had just defeated the linear guild and very few loose ends were left.

After a long haitus I convinced her to start back up and we're now on 484, where haley is left behind in azure city and I need another stopping point before 728.
Please remember that open ending like 484 is the opposite of what I'm looking for.

672 is perfect.

672 is an excellent stopping point. It doesn't tie up all the loose ends, because at this point nothing's going to tie up everything short of ending the entire comic, but it's the kind of ending that the second part of a trilogy would have.

I agree with 672 as well. Rich chose to end the latest book there, and it's set up perfectly for that.

I'd say 671. 672 has an unsolved mystery with the whole world in a world thing.

And there was a point to that. 672 does bring all plot points to a good stopping point for the end of the book though. Blackwing's look through the Rift was a very good example of Foreshadowing.

Actually, I think there are no "good" stopping points. There's always somethign left or something new begins.

So you can cut the strip in round 100s or so as well. If you need stopping points, I'd really go for the books.

I'm going to have to agree that the entire 672 does leave that cliff hanger that I would so like to avoid. But thankfully if I cut-off the last 2/3 of the comic that gets rid of the Planet within the Planet. problem. This should do nice.
Thank you all so much.

Blackwing's look through the Rift was a very good example of Foreshadowing.

Really, the only way it could be considered foreshadowing is if at some point in the future the OotS goes to the Snarl-world. The first appearance of something is not foreshadowing, even if that something is very plot-centric.

Someone mentioning 'other planets' or something (not counting the other planes which are commonly known), that could be considered foreshadowing the discovery of the planet.

From dictionary.com:
fore·shad·ow [fawr-shad-oh, fohr-]
–verb (used with object)
to show or indicate beforehand; prefigure: Political upheavals foreshadowed war.
