Google Chrome is awesome, and apparently thinks my hobbies are awesome (TV Tropes, OoTS). Woot Google Chrome.

Looks like it aggregates a few random stats and runs a whois on each site you visit.

Partly a security thing, partly a handy tool for SEO jockeys, I guess.

wow.... seriously guys. we are grossly over represented by people accessing the site from schools? you should use your time more wisely! then again. i cant talk much, im on giant at home but i should be doing other things...:smallsigh:

another couple of statistics that shocked me. more people from japan access the site than people from the UK, and 91% of internet sites load faster than giant apparently? ah well. interesting if true.

Japan has twice the population and twice the GNP/capita of the UK, IIRC. And I'm pretty sure the average bandwidth of a home internet connection is about ten to a hundred times what you get over here as well.

As for the 91% figure, I imagine that hasn't been updated in a while. Remember that we've had pretty bad server issues in the past.
