Some of these links are not suitable for younger listeners in their lyrical content, beware.

For all you fans of quirky music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i62UF7uROGU), darkish music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_JFjY5Y0Os&feature=related), woeful music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Su7VOpsl4E), juddery music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UYEZnhnVCg&feature=related), rockoutoldschoollesbianstyle music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sO5APfKnR50), and, of course, the Brechtian punk cabaret stylings of ex-Dresden Dolls (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dresden_Dolls) singer/pianist/lyricist Amanda Palmer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amanda_Palmer), or fans of Radiohead (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiohead), the aforementioned Amanda Palmer is releasing a new short album of Radiohead covers, mostly on the ukulele and piano in a few weeks. It's to be advertised by word of mouth, but having listened to previews, I can recommend it.
It's not advertisement, as I have no part in her success, but I think it's totally worth getting.
Have a look and listen here (http://blog.amandapalmer.net/post/687905407/look-the-idioteque-single-from-my-radiohead-covers), or check out the other links I scattered through this post.

I, for one, am excited!

I've heard Amanda cover 'Creep' on the ukelele before. It was much better than the original, in my opinion, but then I'm not a fan of Radiohead. At all.

Still, AFP is awesome, so this might be worth a listen when it comes out.

I've heard Amanda cover 'Creep' on the ukelele before.
She's releasing two versions of it (assuming you purchase a digital copy, which I'd assume you are), on the album, each of which apparently has a different mood, feel, tempo, etc.
But yes, it's a brilliant cover.

Yay!

That does sound cool, and makes sense given how she likes to play with the feels of songs - even her own ones. The version of Creep I heard was recorded live, so obviously it's not one of the ones from the album.

You know, I never knew what Idioteque was about until I heard Amanda Palmer's version... Just can't understand Thom Yorke's singing.

Having just looked it up (yay fandom!), both versions of Creep'll be live. So perhaps the one you'll have heard will be there!

I had a similar issue with Pretty in Pink 'til I heard the Dresden Dolls covering it.

I kind of hope so. It had an interesting heckle that made me giggle.
