View Full Version : I'm tired of waiting for Psionic Power...

Any good home-brew powers, feats, etc? I think that so many people were crying over the 3.5 Psions, thought the imbalance would only be subject to the DMs carelessness, that they did one of two things: 1) they seriously underpowered Psion, because my Psion is sucking @$$ mainly because of Feat selection, or 2) they are waiting for Psionic Power to release anything that makes Psions worth a gosh darn.

The most utilized feat I have is Mark of Sentinel, which saves my rear from getting stuck in melee.

...then again, there may be 3) I just don't know where to look.

Well, here is the feats section of the compendium: http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6622250&postcount=12

And here is the powers section(in a posts with other stuff, only two powers):

No idea if any of that is any good, and it is NOT all of the relevant feats and powers on the boards.

EDIT:
Some more here: http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6660763&postcount=62

The 3.5 psion? The 3.5 Psion is a very well balanced class, and Tier 2 to boot, they aren't the most powerful class by any means, but they are far, far from pitiful. While there is Complete Psionics, the only reason to get that book is the Ardent. There is also the small matter of The Minds Eye supplement.

However, given that you talked about Psionic Power, I'm assuming you are playing a 4e psion, and fear they were dramatically nerfed because it was felt the 3.5 psion was too good. I would look at your feats, the Psion should be fairly decent, they are still a competitive class in 4e.

Aye, it is 4E.

3.5 was a blast, and I had a Githyanki that I took through most of the Psionic classes, short of Ardent and Soulknife. Didnt have that book. We are playing 4e now, and I admire the way the system is much more simpler. I appreciate that nearly everything is on the same system, which was not the case in 3.5, where every spell had its own miniature system.

I do feel its been nerfed as a result to people complaining about it being overpowered. You see that to be false...and I thank you for it. Many a folks got bent out of shape because DMs didn't monitor PP/Day.

If you have any sources of 4e Psion feats whether canonical, or otherwise, please let me know.
