For ten years I have been polishing this sword;
Its frosty edge has never been put to the test.
Now I am holding it and showing it to you, sir:
Is there anyone suffering from injustice?
The Youxia is a little project of mine, somewhat based on characters from Ancient Chinese Novels such as the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and the Water Margin, as well as films like "Iron Monkey" and "Once Upon a time in China". This is still a work in process though, but I wanted to post what I have now.
The Youxia was a type of chivalrous hero from Dynastic China, that first appeared during the Han Dynasty and began to disappear during the Qing Dynasty.
Youxia literally means ‘wandering force’, but is commonly translated as ‘knight-errant’ or less commonly as ‘cavalier’, ‘adventurer’, ‘soldier of fortune’, and ‘underworld stalwart’. The term ‘wandering force’ refers to the way these men solely traveled the land using force (or influence through association with powerful people) to right the wrongs done to the common people and the monarchy if need be.
Play a Youxia if you want to be a fast, armed martial artist who upholds justice and freedom, who wanders the land fighting those who use their magical power to abuse those who cannot protect themselves.

If the Youxia accidentally smites a creature that is not evil, the smite has no effect, but the ability is still used up for that day and the Youxia takes her Charisma bonus as a penalty to all attack and damage rolls for a week. Every third level, the Youxia gains another daily Smite Evil attempt.

Combat Style Apprenticeship: At 2nd level, a Youxia must select one of Four combat styles to pursue: archery, Straight Sword, Curved Blade, or Polearm. This choice affects the character’s class features but does not restrict her selection of feats or special abilities in any way.
