I am playing a build plannign to become a warrior-type using wildshape. He is currently barbarian1/druid 2, so it will take a while until he can fulfill his primary purpose. I am planning to take Master of many forms as soon as i can. He will probably be played through so that he gets to at least mid-level.
So, I'm wondering, what are the best wildshape forms at each level?
I have access to: MM, MM2, Complete series, ToM, Dragon Magic, Savage Species, Lords of Madness, but not much else. I might be able to get hold of MM4, 5, or Fiend Folio.

Druid handbook (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=1354.0) contains a nifty list of different forms for different purposes.

Master of Many Forms Bible (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19528526/updated_Master_of_Many_Forms_Bible__official_wild_ shape_rules) and Druid Handbook (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=1354.0) are good resources for this.

If you are planning going a melee focused wildshaper, a wildshape ranger/MotMF is better than druid (since druid/MotMF looses spell casting, which is the best asset of the druid)

but if you havel already started playing this character.... I hear War-troll (MM III I think) has great stats, Fleshraker and other pouncing animals are also great.

I'm a fan of Dagger Spell Shaper myself. Adding enchantments to your natural attacks is nice.
