Humanoid Shape Invocation

Are there any humanoids out there above 5 HD that are better for melee/grappling than the Troglodyte or Constrictor Naga?

The invocation does not specify a limit, and specifically cites the Monster Manual page, which also does not specify a limit, so no, by RAW, there is no limit unless I'm missing something. Unfortunately, it causes you to lose your breath weapon.

What about powerful forms? Still troglodyte and constrictor naga?

Varag for spring attack? (Not sure if BW counts for it though)...

Move in, breathe, move out.

Flyby attack line is superior though. But hey, free spring attack is not bad too if you don't want to invest in flyby attack feats.
