Ok I am looking for ideas for the use of a gestalt warblade // warlock / warmage / eldrich thurge.

Oh, and the race is warforged.

thats right, a warforged warblade warlock warmage.

Would it nerf the build too much to take levels in Warrior? :smalltongue:

It'll be tricky to get into Warpriest and Warshaper... doable, but tricky.

Question, if he used expansion to qualify for warhulk, would he regain the ability to use int, cha, and wis, based skills when he shrunk back to normal size? That would be rather useful.

Now the build is
warforged
warblade // warlock / warmage / eldrich thruge 10 / warhulk.
we got 5 wars people. Are there any more.

oh, I forgot warchief.

maybe
warforged
warblade / warchief 10 // warlock / warmage / eldrich thruge / warhulk.
up to 6

I wonder if we can get War Chanter on there.

Also, Warforged Juggernaut.

Cut that non-War one. The one that wouldn't be allowed in gestalt anyways.

I guess find a way to add warpriest in on the warlock side.
I can't think of how to get warforged to qualify for warshaper....

See if you guys can figure it out by tomorow. Goodnight all.

I forgot that thurges aren't allowed in gestalt.

@^: Polymorph or Wildshape. A Druid entry to Warpriest is viable but would take more levels than is ideal, but if there's a Cleric domain with Polymorph then we're set.

A Warlock invocation like Word of Change might be ruled to qualify, but that would be a long wait anyway.

Cut that non-War one. The one that wouldn't be allowed in gestalt anyways.

Dual-progression classes are allowed, just discouraged.

http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/gestaltCharacters.htm

A gestalt character can’t combine two prestige classes at any level, although it’s okay to combine a prestige class and a regular class. Prestige classes that are essentially class combinations-such as the arcane trickster, mystic theurge, and eldritch knight-should be prohibited if you’re using gestalt classes, because they unduly complicate the game balance of what’s already a high-powered variant. Because it’s possible for gestalt characters to qualify for prestige classes earlier than normal, the game master is entirely justified in toughening the prerequisites of a prestige class so it’s available only after 5th level, even for gestalt characters.

Should be prohibited, as in Ask your DM if it is OK...

Also, on the Warshaper: I'm away from my books, but is there no way to tack a Shapechanger subtype on our Warforged?

You qualify for War Hulk when you use Bear Warrior to turn into a Brown Bear. I tried to stick in at least one level of every "war"-based class I can find, but not all of them fit (Hellfire Warlock, for instance). A lot of the classes are extremely less than optimal, but the entire thing should still be playable, since it has full BAB, overall good saves and HD, spells, maneuvers, and some great ways to deal damage.

Perhaps for simplicity, just have him use all base PC classes with "war" in it (Psychic Warrior? Huh, what is it good for?) and have him try to recruit any NPC he comes across who might have levels in a "war" PrC to his cause.

Here you got some fluff with your crunch!

I am so sorry for unleashing this onto the internet.

Good job though. I never expected to see a working build.
