800 kilomiters away from inside , standing solitary in the middle of a large bay , is the EDEN citadel. 900 meters tall, shaped like a gigantic spear of glass and metal, piercing into the sky.around the tower's base are endless other smaller buildings. factory, monorail stations, harbours,landing pads, the whole place is bustling with activity. and ever where the same logo "EDENcorp" a Helicopter is coming in to land at one of the higher up Heliports

When it lands, Margaret steps out, bright-eyed and interested in stuffs.

they are greeted by some suited monkeys (as in big body guard types , wearing suits) "mrs. Pirelli? this way please." they lead her inside to a air-conditioned conference room together with marcus

She blushes a little at being called Mrs. Pirelli, but follows.
She looks nervously at Marcus.

Marcus lays a hand on her shoulder "don't worry. It'll all be ok" for me at least , he thinks to himself.

a important looking guy walks in, wearing a grey suit speaking in a posh British accent "ah, so you must be Margaret the brilliant inventor?. I'm doctor Breen, and I am honoured to meet you. she's exactly as you described her marcus!"


marcus grins , slightly sinisterly

Margaret and Marcus are lead to a large suit , with a huge panorama window looking out to on the sea.

She is a little awed by the stuff.

Even marcus is somewhat impressed "wow. they did a nice job here. so, are you looking forward to seeing the labs tomorrow?"

She turns around, nodding enthusiastically.

"well...how about we get some early sleep then, so you'll be rested for tomorrow"

Margaret nods; she heads to the bathroom to change into her nightwear and get into bed.

marcus is sitting on the edge of the bed "I've still got a few things t talk about...I'll be back later tonight"

She nods and goes sleepies.

when she wakes up next morning, marcus will be gone

She sits up, looks around, and dresses. She heads for the lab if she can.

she'll find the lab 4 floors down. the door is closed, but she can hear voices behind it "try to keep her alive if you can...if she doesn't survive the dissection all this will have been pointless"

She doesn't quite know what dissection means.
She figures they just plan to, like, take a look at her cybernetics by unscrewing a few cover plates or something.
She knocks on the door.

marcus, doctor breen and a few scientists all turn round to face her
"she heard"
"she'll try to escape!"
"restrain her , and get the operation room ready!"

two shaved gorillas try to grab Margaret

I said I's ready, y'don't needs to do that! She's confused as she is grabbed.

they bring her into a brightly lit room operation chamber , where she is placed on a table, and restrained by metal restraints. some sugeons then stand around her

"will we need anaesthetics?"
"no. it'll mess with the cyberware. we need to find out whats going on. are the hackers ready?"
"ready"

Margaret will start to feel someone trying to get into her machine parts

She lets it happen, too confused to resist.

M-Marcus? She looks for her husband, getting scared.

Marcus' voice can be heard over intercom "don't worry dear. it'll be ok. this will hurt a bit though" one of the surgeons has a scalpel, and slowly holds it closer to Margarets face

She's delving into terror now.

"If you don't do this, they will kill me. so be a good girl " he's buffing of course. the surgeon is almost ready to make the first incision

She's still utterly terrified.

the first cut is made right next to the cybernetics, the scalpel slowly slicing through her flesh. another surgeon is cutting off her clothing to get a better look at her arm with the cyber hand

She cries, but holds still.

The body underneath the clothes is a fairly attractive one, if a bit on the bony side.
She keeps whimpering Marcus's name.

the rest of the operation happens off-screen due to cruelty against cyborgs. when it ends. he cuts will be patches up, and she'll be brought to a padded cell, and a straitjacket will be forced onto her. she'll be left alone for a while after that

She's crying quietly.
M-Marcus...

marcus enters the room . he walks up to her "are you feeling ok?"

[Beans]

She struggles to stand and get over to him, but falls to the floor.
E-everything 'urts...
She looks up at him with wide, scared, pained eyes.

"It'll be ok. this is just to stop you from hurting yourself. " marcus will help her up, and hold her chin

She shakes all over, what with essentially having undergone the surgical parallel to rape.

marcus leads her back to thier room "it's ok. you don't have to do that again. you'll want to get some sleep"

She nods, but doesn't let go of his hand.

he sits down on the bed, and motions her to sit down next ot her

When it's wakey time, she'll get dressed and don her toolbelt.

She smiles and sits down, wincing, quietly nomming her noms.

before they leave there is a knock on the door. marcus opens it. standing there is a woman in her 20s wearing a maid uniform "mr. and mrs. Pirelli?I'd just like to introduce myself . I'm Martha, your personal maid for your stay here. If you need anything just call me.just dial 0 then 3 on the phone, and I'll be there"

Margaret nods silently.

"a good servant should be seen and not heard. now please get out of my way, so I can escort my wife to the weapons labs" martha nods and turns around muttering something about bastards , ans where he could shove his weapons labs
"shall we go now?"

Margaret heard the muttering.

She flexes her mechanical hand.

"that won't be necessary dear. i'll talk to the head of personnel about it."

they get to the weapons lab...and there are a lot of weapons laying about. several other ones are being tested by EDEN drones and on EDEN drones (yay disposable henchmen!) a scenarist turns round and runs over to shake Margaret's hand "you must be Margaret right? well I'm pleased to meet you! the weapons being tested there are of your design,and we're more than satisfied with them!"

She goes about, instructing the testers on how to best operate the Arc Rifles.

marcus watches her go about it, and has a conversation with the scientist

I fink I shud demmistrate the exomech before you get buggers testin' it. 'S tricky for newbies, I fink, but once they see 'ow 's done they'll get it.

Margaret is still totally alive and doing stuff.

after a while marcus walks over to her "I've had a talk, and I've organised you some target practice you might enjoy..." a bound and gagged Martha is ushered into the room by some gorillas :smalleek:

marcus will take her arm, and take her to a large sushi restaurant, designed for the executives. a large wall to wall aquarium , filled with edible fish, and the rest of the room filled with low tables and cushions. marcus takes a seat at a table near the aquarium

She looks around in awe.

marcus orders them some very expensive sushi, and when it arrives looks across at Margaret "do you know how to use chopsticks?"

She nods. Years of hungrily watching people eat their cheap Chinese food lends one that talent.

Marcus smiles, and eats a little, watching margaret eat, the specially prepared for her food...

She observes and advises, and after a while, she goes down to demonstrate.

She waves to Marcus with the mech's huge hand, then proceeds to do cool stuff.

When she finishes, she heads back up to Marcus.

marcus smiles at her "doctor breen has something to ask you"

"indeed. I'd like you do design me a hovering battle fortress for me. I'm sure you'll do a great job. you have unlimited resources.

Margaret looks like she just won a little board game in her head.
She nods eagerly.

Breen grins "excellent! do this for me, and I'll have you stationed as an advisor during the upcoming battle!"

Her fingers twitch as she is already thinking up designs.

Breen smiles "excellent! show me your designs when you're done with them!"
