Not to be confused with Lanky.

I'm interested in the archetype of the character that's really not very good at what he does, but manages to scrape by every time by sheer luck. Maybe Lady Luck exists and really likes him, maybe he was just born under an auspicious star, but things turn out right for him against all the odds. What system would be best to build such a character in?

Complete Scoundrel is loaded with Luck based feats and a luck based prestige class called Fortune's Friend.

Fatespinner
Cleric w/Luck domain
What they said
etc.

But then, you know that already.

I know about the Luck feats, I was under the impression that they were spectacularly underwhelming. Hence my asking if there was a better system than D&D to build it in.
