I'm playing a NG character and going into Planar Shepard and was wondering what a good 'Home Plane' would be and what kind of things I'd get from it. (Planar Attunment, Planar Bubble, and Wildshape Elemental & Outsider)

What setting are you playing in?

If it's a default everything's allowed setting, the Region of Dreams (Manual of the Planes) is the best one. Subjective gravity + flowing time means that Planar Bubble gives you free flight and uber Time Stop. It's also home to every creature imaginable, in case the previous is not enough.

If it's Eberron, then Dal Quor is the best one. Your Wild Shape choices aren't great, but you still get the Planar Bubble for 10:1 action advantage, which is much more powerful.

Plane of Elemental Cheese.I prefer the Elemental Plane of Gelatin.

'Cuz there's always room for JellO.

Plane of Mirrors. Insta-transport from the unfriendly natives, folks.

Make one yourself. Pay a wizard to bind an Efreeti and give you a wish, wish for a scroll of Genesis.

it lets you create your own demi plane but it requires (in my personal opinion) a very loose interpretation of the rules to get any thing good out of it.

And even then it has no creatures native to it so no extra wild shape forms

Could you then use Wish or some other form by the rules to change a species native plane? Like maybe wishing for that creature to be there then using some magic to seal yourself for years and years thus waiting for that monster to become "native" lol

I dont think thats how native works in dnd and the demi plane does not come with any life.

Besides the previously mentioned planes are vastly better.

I dunno. Incantrix and IotSV are pretty broken as well. And Planar Shepard really only gets broken with certain planes.

Tainted Scholar, Beholder Mage, and Illithid Savant would like a word with you.

Don't you mean Tainted Sorcerer?

Or am I wrong in assuming you're talking about something out of Unearthed Arcana?

Incantrix is pretty bad, but IotSV is just really good.

I'm more concerned with Tainted Scholar (lol) really. Heck, I'd say Shadowcraft Mage is scarier with some of the tricks you can pull (weee, free 130% real miracles!)

Heroes of Horror updated the taint rules, and added the Tainted Scholar, which is like Tainted Sorcerer, but with more class features. They both pretty much break the game equally though.
