Optimization Challenge: Best HP at ECL 1

What can the playground do?

28pt buy, 2 flaws, No negative LA.

Baseline:

Dwarf Barbarian with 20 con and Toughnessx3 has 26 HP at ECL 1 (and comes completely from the SRD).

What else can we do?

Human Barbarian: (18 Con)

Base HP of 16

Feats: Dauntless (PGF; +5 HP), Toughness, Toughness, Toughness.
Slow Trait.

16+5+9+1=31

No reason to be a Dragonborn Mongrelfolk: The +3 HP is essentially emulated by a Human Bonus feat devoted to Toughness.

The Dauntless Regional feat (Dwarves/Humans only, IIRC) is what makes it worth it, I suppose.

Mongrelfolk have +4 con, which looks to be the highest of any LA 0 race.

Don't forget Dragonborn for another +2 Con.

Let's see... Dragonborn Mongrelfolk Battle Sorcerer 1 (for giggles) with Draconic Heritage and Draconic Toughness X2. That's a good +12 from feats right there. If you take human instead of Mongrefolk you can get x3 Draconic Toughness.

This is also assuming you are permitted to stack that feat. It doesn't say you can explicitly, but I really don't see an issue with it.

If not, let's roll with a Dragonborn Mongrelfolk Knight 1 with Toughnessx3. That'd be a good spread right there, depending on how high you can boost that Con score.

how about maximizing for most psionic pp at first level, that would be more useful. without psionic vestiges.

elan psion 18int, psionic talent x3 = 2+2+2+2+3+4 = 15
And being an elan those can be converted to hit points when injured.

Mongrelfolk from Races of Destiny have +4 Con, –2 Int, –4 Cha
Replacing Dwarf in your build this will get 1 more HP.

Combine with the Slow Trait (If allowed) for an extra 1 HP/level.

So I got Mongrelfolk Barbarian with 22 con and Toughnessx3, with Slow trait, has 28 HP at ECL 1

@arguskos: I'm fairly certain you can't stack Draconic Toughness (or any feats that don't specifically allow it.)
