Rules: Stat no higher than 18 (before mods), 2 flaws, 1 trait, no magic items, no dragon mag

Challenge: maximizing for most psionic pp at first level, that would be more useful. without psionic vestiges.

First Bid:
elan psion 18int, psionic talent x3 = 2+2+2+2+3+4 = 15
And being an elan those can be converted to hit points when injured.

1) You might want to start with Synad; they open with 3 PP rather than 2 and are still aberrations.

2) Elan don't convert their PP to hit points, they can spend them to reduce damage they are about to take. This is relevant when you factor in spells that work off of your HP total, like the Power Word line.

3) Making one of your feats be Body Fuel effectively doubles your power points, as you can burn your physical scores down to 1-2 each refilling your reserve.

Erudite instead of Psion, you get a Psicrystal for free. Have your Psicrystal take Hidden Talent. That's 2 more.

You can't spend them though, so I'm not sure they count. Erudite is good for the free feat though.

That's why I said Hidden Talent. It give a level 1 power to use them with.

That won't work - Psicrystals only have 10 Charisma.

You can manifest this power with the power points provided by this feat if you have a Charisma score of 11 or higher.

And they're still not technically your PP.

Hmm... That does throw a wrench into my idea. There must be some way to get a Psicrystal +1 Cha.

Why am I now picturing Super-Psicrystal?

Don't knock it. I'm doing the same thing for a 13th level Psion. The Psicrystal is nearly as good as the main character.

Why am I now picturing Super-Psicrystal?Well, it does have super-senses and can fly. Given the right setup it has laser- and X-Ray-vision, as well.

A synad version of the OP's build would have 16 pp. Give him 50 +1 manifester arrows and you've got 266 pp to work with.

You never said I had to give him appropriate WBL, after all.

This thrown DMG is not whacking you in the face. It's violently caressing you.

If that's allowed you have infinite power points.

Human Psion, 18 Int

Feats: (1 Starting, 1 Bonus Human, 2 from flaws, 1 Bonus Psion feat)
Psionic Talent x5

Total PP = 2 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 = 24

Why do humans win these competitions so often? The bias is so bad you would think they wrote the game.

Only half as awesome at level 2, though, since your number of manifestations at your full ML is roughly halved.

True, but it also does double the damage, and it's a good deal more than you'd have normally. And next level you can get another Psionic talent for another 7 PP, on top of what you're already gettig for your basic level up.

Ahem.

Actually, I seem to recall a website where some guys set up a camera-slash-rifle on some servos, and allowed people to 'point and click' in a sort of Duck-Hunt scenario, only with deer. It apparently cost a LOT of money, and I don't think it lasted long (since a guy in camo gear looks suspiciously deer-like sometimes), but yes, it's possible to commit internet-violence. If only against deer.

Thats both cool and really disturbing.Well, against deer and hunters. But people shouldn't be out hunting where people can click on them, now should they?
