I'd say this is pretty comic-related.

Well, I apologize if I offended anyone, but it's taken right from Belkar's last line.
"Hairbrained" was the only suggestion that really applied to Durkon (...and yes, I understand the correct spelling differs since the term originally referenced the rabbitlike critter not the emissions from incontinent follicles ... but the neoascriptal version is funnier.)

In this world " troglodyte" has a different meaning. Keep both "hairbrained "& "ninny" instead.

No "nincompoop"? No "doofus"?
For shame.

Durkon the Dufus, Durkon Dunderhead.
Perhaps we'll see Belkar using these along the lines of Stubbles von Smackhammer.
I don't think schmuck really fits. Schmuck as used by my grandmother, and yiddish speaking relatives means someone that is kind of a jerk.
Actually I'm surprised Belkar's vocabulary includes the word synonym.

Don't forget Numpty (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=numpty)! And Bampot (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bampot)!
Cause by usin' tha' las' Sendin', Durkon was bein' a glaikit (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=glaikit) bastird, wannit 'e?
A 'course, Belkar's a nippet (http://hubpages.com/hub/thejockspot_awa_and_bile_yer_heid) scunner (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=scunner)* hisself, isn't 'e?
What? Dwarves are all actually Scottish, aren't they?

Only Fools & Horses has more than a few- mostly aimed at Rodney, often and euphemisms for body parts.
"Plonker" is a favourite.
Also "twonk" and "dipstick".

Can we come up with some insults that fit in with Sword & Fantasy games specifically? Perhaps Shakespearean, medieval, or literature based?
I remember The Hobbit using "attercop" & "tomnoddy" & of course, "fool" as in "fool of a Took" from LOTR.

Odin-brained
The nice thing is that he'd probably take it as a compliment...

I recall a few from the Horrible Histories books.
Leatherhead was more a generic term for a thug, than an insult though.
I'd certainly expect him to, if you told him he had the brain of the head of the Northern pantheon!
