If one was to look at the arena, they would think that perhaps half of the arena had been built into a jungle; trees and flowers stood proud, casting great shadows across the large clearing before them; lilies created borders, separating the clearing into ten sections. But the other half of the arena was free from the forestry, as if being held back by a greater presence.

"Troubling." Regardless of his comments, the figure nods; the garden rots, becoming sustenance.

The remaining shadows flicker and fade; the figure waves a hand. The cannon of plants (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Seed_Cannon) arises from the undergrowth, priming it's barrel towards the enemy of the plants. Another wave; the Twilight Rose Knight drops from a tree, taking a place directly in front of the figure - it slashes at the undergrowth, and the Lord Poison arises from the undergrowth.

The two figures move forward as one, each swiping at their foe (-2500LP). After this, the figure raises a hand; the forest ceases movement.

Something within the hood glints as the word "commoner" is mentioned; as if agreeing, weeds and nettles begin to crop up within the garden.

The figure waves a hand: shadows dart in from around the garden, centering in on the Knight; they surround and obscure him from view. In but a moment, they part, revealing the Gigaplant in the place of the Twilight Rose Knight; the shadows move on, becoming the shape of a tree. (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/The_World_Tree)

The Lord Poison darts forward, slicing the Frog into two parts; the Gigaplant attacks the face-down with apparent joy; but once again, the figure ceases his movement, and the forest follows suit.

"Gemini." As the figure speaks, the Gigaplant grows larger; it's "hands" become part of the undergrowth; the Lord Poison rises from the undergrowth.

The figure gestures; a book (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Book_of_Moon) appears before the man; shadows move from it, darting towards the frosty gentleman. As he is drawn into defence, the Lord Poison rises up and strikes him down. The Gigaplant attacks the prince's keeper (-2400LP); the figure chuckles. "Nice try, prey." The forest ceases it's movements as the figure does.

A sweet-smelling storm (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Fragrance_Storm) then descends upon the thorns; one is blown away, as shadows cluster around the figure.

The shadows take on the form of the Revival Rose (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Revival_Rose); the shadows retreat to the figure, granting him another draw.

The figure shakes it's head; the forest begins to wilt as the shadows disperse in surrender and deference to their opponent.

((Or to put it more bluntly: I surrender, as your victory is inevitable. Good game :smalltongue: I know some things I can definitely do to improve this deck; firstly, more Synchros. I wasn't able to Synchro Summon between Twilight Rose Knight and Lord Poison at the start, since Queen of Thorns is apparently 6 stars, not 7. Hmm~))

It was a good match. I think my deck is working pretty well now, though it is still very reliant on Treeborn Frog. Regarding your deck, I was a little curious why you have both Black Garden and Ancient Forest - it seems that just having the one or the other would be better to do whichever purpose you have in mind. Even if you use both, though, adding a Terraforming (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Terraforming) might help to increase the odds of getting the specific field spell you want. As well, only having one Royal Decree (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Royal_Decree) seems a little odd, since adding a second would let you double your odds of drawing it. I think you're right about more synchros, too. The only other thing regards Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis, your trump card: you might want another Phoenixian Seed (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Phoenixian_Seed) to make sure you can get it onto the field easily, and Foolish Burial (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Foolish_Burial) would also let you put Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis in the Graveyard where you can then activate its effect.

If you do consider adding some of these cards, I think you might want to remove one Fragrance Storm and one Bird of Roses to make room - the former at three might end up a bad draw without Black Garden to put plant tokens on your opponent's side of the field to target (targeting your own plants makes it a -1 unless you draw a Plant to break even), while the latter only has two targets in your deck (Copy Plant); if one or both aren't in your deck, you can't activate its effect.

Agreed; I use both Ancient Forest and Black Garden for they serve different intentions. Black Garden is to weaken my opponent's monsters against Queen of Thorns, as well as to provide targets for Fragrance Storm. Ancient Forest is for when I have Amaryllis on the field: it forces every monster into the same position as Amaryllis, unable to attack without being destroyed. But perhaps I should switch Ancient Forest out for a Black Garden. Hmmm~

I thank you for the advice; Bird of Roses was a filler card in any case, since I needed something to switch with Lonefire Blossom at short notice and had a tab open with Bird of Roses.
