...You...Run out of natural gas? @_@ Wiggy. There a lot of people burning it and that's why it runs out, too many people? Or like, there's so few people that use it that they don't bother to have enough in the pipelines?

Or do you need to get cans of it like we used to, its always a bother when the can runs out while your cooking.

Serpentine
2010-07-24, 02:46 AM
Uh... Some parts of Australia have piped gas. This is not one of those parts. We have big LPG cannisters that need to be either refilled or replaced. I think something went wrong with ours, though, because the first cannister only lasted a couple of weeks before, instead of just running out, it went all flickery and weird. Switched it over, but forgot to arrange for the other to be replaced 'til it was too late and now we're without decent heating for days and it's all my fault :smallsigh:

Coidzor

Wow... I haven't posted in a while... last thread? The thread before that?

Anyway, regardless of when the last time I posted was, I missed a lot of good pictures. Since it'd take way too much time to comment on them all, I'll just issue a blanket statement: we have a lot of attractive people here in the playground. :smallwink:

Anyway, I come bearing a picture and a video (which I will regret posting surely). First off is the picture. It's of me and my girlfriend at a Blues Traveler concert we went to on Wednesday. I'm so happy in it, even if you can't really tell, because this was the first time I actually got to meet her. Anyway, I'm the one on the left, if you couldn't tell, and the one on the right is my amazing, hilarious, spontaneous, and ever beautiful girlfriend.

And without any fanfare, here's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tT8tMr2XrGo) the video I would have submitted to Life in a Day if I were old enough. It's not very good, low quality, hideously long, and full of bad angles. Ignore it.

Nuh-uh!
A bathrobe, dressing gown or housecoat is a robe. A bathrobe is usually made from towelling or other absorbent fabric, and may be donned while wet, serving both as a towel and an informal garment. A dressing gown (for men) or a housecoat (for women) is a loose, open-fronted gown closed with a fabric belt that is put on over nightwear on rising from bed, or, less commonly today, worn over some day clothes when partially dressed or undressed in the morning or evening (for example, over a man's shirt and trousers without jacket and tie).Never heard it called a housecoat for women, though :smallconfused:

I don't mind ^_^ Thankee. And they're just purple stockings. I like 'em anyways :smalltongue:

(I don't hate Pilgrim's Progress - I haven't read it - but it seems a rather bizarre text to choose as the most important in British history...)It was something to do with a combination of the number of people who read it (lots), its influence on education and literacy (lots), its philosophical impact (substantial), and its durability (extended). I was only jesting. Acrylics are great if you know how to use them, I have a hard time with them though. Oils are expensive. However, they last much longer, and if you leave some oils out on a pallet and they dry up, you can just get you paint brush, dab it in some white spirit and wet the paint. With acrylics it’s a little harder. >.<
