Another Familiar Question?

While a familiar's hitpoints remain at one half his masters, his hit dice increaces as his master levels. Does this provide feats and such like a character levels?

Not quite. It provides effective HD, rather than actual HD like a druid's animal companion gets. It's only good for things like "does Sleep affect it? Y/N" and the like. The best way to give your familiar feats is to get a Psychic Restoration and/or a Dark Chaos Shuffle.
