The Magic Item Slots are:
Arms
Body (Non-Armor)
Face
Feet
Hands
Head
Ring x2
Shoulders
Throat
Torso
Waist

Now here is the question, can I wear something in the Body (Non-Armor) slot and armor? I suppose it would be like wearing a robe over armor.

Do I get the bonus from both?

Body slot means things like Vest and Vestaments. Robes specifically take up the armor slot.

See Vest of Escape, Vest of Resistance (CAdv), Druid's Vestaments, Bolt Shirt, etc for examples of items that take up what should be named the Torso slot.

So no, you couldn't wear a magic robe over your armor, but you could wear a magic vest under your armor.

Not if they are both magical items... you can only benefit from one magic item per slot.

That said, the robe over armor discussion wages ever onwards, with a lot of folks saying you can wear a magic robe over non-magical armor, getting the AC benefits of the armor, and the magical benefits of the robe at the same time.

As slots only discuss magic benefits, this seems to work. There are those that disagree however.

A: What about armor spikes?
B: Do special materials count as magical?

A: What about armor spikes?
They still use the body slot, but they're a weapon, not armor.

B: Do special materials count as magical?
No.
