different uses of core magic

I heard there is a way to use a spell to make either of these into a flying platform for the party to attack from using only core books.
what iis it please?
also any other cool core spell uses would be interesting to hear about

You could tip a Wall of Iron, get everyone on it, and then use Reverse Gravity.
Kind of a high level trick though.

The DMG has the carpet of flying which you could beef up into a mobile weapons platform. If thats not your style you could create a custom item using Levitate, Over-land flight or Fly. Throw in permanency for good measure.
