I picked up an old gem at a thrift store the other day, BIONIC COMMANDO! My personal favorite game of all time (but only by a smidge), Bionic Commando is quite possibly the hardest of games on the NES that did NOT use fake difficulty. It was all your fault if you died, not the games. Stop screaming at that poor NES, can't you see it's crying? Or is that the top loading slot sticking closed again?

First of all, this is NOT a "Let's Play". This is a discussion thread on how influental BC was. (It might evolve into an LP, but for now, it's all about exploding Hitler faces.)

Bionic Commando is one of the best.

Bionic Commando: Rearmed might be even better.

Even the new third person Bionic Commando was good fun.

Come on now, I found it fairly fun. And the music score is neat, mainly due to them sticking to remixing the legendary tracks from the original game :smalltongue:
