I'm looking for a bit of sheet music which I have yet been incapable of finding. The song is Dearest Helena, which is a roughly minute long track from Starcraft. The song is here:

and it's mostly piano. I really want to find piano sheet music for it so I can learn it, but have had no luck, and it's too complex for me to transcribe by ear. Anybody have a way to help out?

If you just want it for personal use, you might try emailing some of the people who are credited with the music, e.g. Jason Hayes (http://www.musicbyjason.com/bio.html). As Blizzard owns the copyright, their ability to distribute sheet music would be constrained by fair use, but if nothing else, they might be able to put you in contact with the appropriate people at Blizzard, or to tell you who composed that particular piece.

It sounds like a few groups have been able to license sheet music from Blizzard. However, if this is not something they do regularly, they may not be interested in figuring out how to sell it to you at an acceptable price.

This is your best bet. If they're awesome like Valve are, they'll do it.

Pianofiles.com is a good place to look for sheet music in general. Sadly, they don't seem to have this particular piece.

Your best bet is to try and find a .wav/.midi to sheet music converter. 8notes has one for .midi files, but it has a limit on the number of files you can process/day unless you sign up for membership. I'm not sure if membership is free, but the generator is, in limited amounts.

If you have the game, find the .wav file in your program files and stick it through a converter. It might be a bit rough, but you can tweak it.

EDIT: Also, you could convert the .wav file into .midi and then into the sheet music converter, there are free file converters online.
