ONE of these days. I'll make a thread and not forget about it, I promise (kinda).

So, wow. Didn't have a scanner for a while there huh? Sorry kids, but I'm back to my relatively productive self.

I'll make this thread pretty eventually, but I DO want to promise that art will be up here almost momentarily. And I've got a variable DUMP of it to throw on you guys right away.

I likes this picture a lot. It's kind of refreshing to see these two again after not seeing them for a while. It's also nice that we didn't see them for a while, though. There was a time when the only drawings you made were of Varna and Carrow. >.<

My friend and I were really pushing for school girl Annie with Hello Kitty Tibbers for a skin. Woulda' been awesome. But agree with you that Soraka really needs a new skin - I vote Robot Unicorn attack :D

Just got back from an all-weekend con excursion, so I'm a little tired XD (lots of partying and not a lot of sleep you see). My labs for the summer though, it sounds like, are more or less done. YAY! Should have a decent amount of time for drawings and stuff now, once I get a bit of sleep and food back in my system.

I WILL get a dorky Taric picture done at some point... And it'll be WIN.

That is awesome, if slightly scary. I don't think I've ever seen a Tiefling[?] baking a cake wearing nothing but an apron.

Amazing? Those were some of my worst efforts; the meringue just collapsed (always use an electric whisk if it's an option, and don't even bother if it's a humid day kiddies), I didn't have a sieve to dust the cake (which was just made from what I had left over towards the end of the semester, incidentally) and I don't know what I was smoking when I came up with the cake-pies (the answer is; I don't do drugs, I'm just that insane).

The turnovers and the cinnamon buns were good though.

I tried to make the microwave cake. Granted, I made mine vanilla (no cocoa powder). It worked surprisingly well, although mine was quite dense. It really didn't rise and tasted very, very eggy.

I'm thinking I'll try it again with just egg whites (maybe whipped?) so as to make the cake fluffier. Thanks for the heads up on the amount of sugar though, I think the recipe's amount was a bit much.

Did you use cake/self-rising flour? Using plain flour by mistake's usually the reason cakes don't rise.

The first is just a character reference (actually inked by a friend since I was working my butt off trying to finish the rest of the actual comic) and the second is the mock-up of the first page. Without text (obviously).

It was quite a sad film. Not as sad as I thought it would be. I got a warning from three different friends and the guy who sold it to me at the counter, I’ve never had so many warnings about a film, I was half expecting to be suicidal after.
That said, it was a pretty emotional film and very well made. I might watch it again.

I use copic and prisma colour markers for all of my colouring. I do lines with prismacolour liner pens (or something similar).

I've been meaning to make some kind of video or something of the drawing process from start to finish, but it keeps getting pushed back when other things come up.

I know it's short notice, but I'm gonna be playing a TMNT mutant game on Monday and would really like someone to draw up my character for me.

She is a raccoon-human hybrid, gunslinger with dual pistols. She wears goggles for her sensitive eyes (can be worn on forehead), with a classic raccoon mask. Humanoid covered in raccoon fur, pointed ears on top of head, striped tail. Clothing is whatever you like, but I envision some sort of vest, gun belt, maybe something wrapped around the calves or forearms...up to you.

Another place I've found them are college campus book stores/supplies. At least in the states, most colleges have on campus stores.

Indeed. Someone hacked into our main hammer space and changed the password on us. We're currently consulting with tech support to get that sorted out. The problem should be solved by the time ACen 2011 rolls around, at the very latest. They've been rather busy lately.

How's your transportation sitch? For my knowledge there's plenty of conventions in Europe if you look hard enough. For my money some of the best cosplayers EVER are german lesbians.

I was wondering, Ms. Kara, if I might commission you to create my first (and thus far only) picture for the Prestige Class Contest; an example of my entry, the Lord of Rusted Iron (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9384622&postcount=3).

Lords are martial characters that dress in ragged and torn clothing that's often tough and practical; broad-brimmed leather hats, cloaks, rusted chain mail, pockmarked weapons and dented shields are all hallmarks of their profession, as is a cloud of rusted iron shavings about their person(s) and rusted iron runes marking their weapons, armor, and selves. They don't get much sleep.

Via my memories of cursory examinations of two siblings (younger brother and kid sister) playing GW, I think it is an elementalist. It's certainly skimpy enough an outfit for a female AoE/spellcaster.
