I need to have a certain question answered to know how to build a sheet right, so I'm asking here: I'm playing a wizard/sorcerer multiclass (non-gestalt) character, and the wizard side is a specialist. Can I learn spells from the schools I prohibited as a wizard using the sorcerer side of my progression?

Yes. The specialist penalty only applies to wizard casting. Btw, please tell me you are headed for Ultimate Magus.

Dual progression prestige classes are forbidden in gestalt.

I sure am. I needed to know whether that worked so I could figure out how to split up my spells known.

This isn't a gestalt build.
