hi, i am new to the site and was wondering if there were any groups playing dark heresy over the internet. i've never actually played the game but i have a basic understanding on how the system works (i.e: how to put a character together, how to roll tests ect...) if the game is being run through skype that would be exelent.

I play in two Dark heresy (well one dark heresy and one rogue trader) games a week over the internet using a program called OpenRPG

I would probably recommend 1.8.+ standard instead of Triapse though

There are a few people who run Dark Heresy games on these forums.

Well i dont run the games personally i play in them. Generally they are on Thursday and Tuesday, though this week and next are an exception, there will most likely be a game on Tuesday.

First you install openRPG and python, then once you have the program open you click "Game Server" along the top of the bar then click "Browse Servers"

Normally we are on "OpenRPG Veav I" or "Blackstar Games Server" and the games are called "RT: Paths of Twilight" or "DH: Into the Breach"

When you are in one of the server lobbies though you could ask people about how to use the program in more detail, some people have files called nodes that work with the program that will teach you about it, or if you hop into our game Thursday we can teach you about it in private messages or before/after the game!

We have a forum for our games as well here: http://dhopenrpg.forumotion.net/forum.htm
