"Your spellthief and arcane spellcaster levels also stack when determining your caster level for all arcane spells." This is spellcaster levels, which means the level you use to determine your spells/day.

With the way this is wording from UM, the quote part, does that mean I get the spells of a 20 lvl beguiler and spellthief?

Because I am not fully understanding this at all. Refer to the build below for classes.

Beguiler (X=8): ((1 class) + (7 UM) = X) + Y + Z + (4 ASP) = 31
Wizard (Y=18): ((3 class) + (10 UM) + (5 Archmage) = Y) + X + Z + (4 ASP) = 31
Spellthief (Z=1) ((1 class) = Z) + X + Y + (4 ASP) = 31
Caster Level: X + Y + Z + (4 ASP) = 8 + 18 + 1 + 4 = 31

I am no expert but I would imagine that if you take that as written there that means it would stack in terms of your character level only. Not seperate classes. So instead of casting your spellthief spells at CL 10 and your wizard spells at CL 10 you would instead cast either at level 20 but you would not progress up on spells for each class. Just your caster level for determining damage dice or spell resistance etc. I may be totally off but that is how I have always played it.

Do you mean Abrupt Jaunt? Its in the PHBII, under ACFs for wizards, specifically the Immediate Magic ACF. Its specific only for Conjourers. Every specialist gets their own little toy, Conjourers just get the best toy.

To be fair, transmuters sudden shift isn't bad, swift action for any form of special movement (burrow, climbing, flying or swimming speed) int/day... sign me in.

I think it is quite useful for gishes.
