Steal a PC wizard's spellbook. Watch the rage ensue.

On-topic: I'm going to go with the dire badger until someone out-trumps me

Rage the deadly sin, or Rage as an optimized ability?

We don't need no stinkin' badgers!

Not a bad choice for a low CR beastie. It's one of my favorites.

hrm, for core I would say a balor, as demons are "ferocity personified".

Maybe a half-fiend red dragon, or a half-fiend something barbarian.

Aww pooh, it'll be hard to slap frenzied berserker on the balor and keep him nonepic :smalltongue:
But Half Fiend hmm...

Put it all together; Half-Red Dragon Balor with levels in Frenzied Berserker.wait what? That's an EPIC challenge!

It shouldn't really be epic, because when he's frenzying he can't cast spells, right?

If they have casters, such a balor should be no more then nuisance.

If homebrew is allowed... (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147202)

((Don't post in the thread, though - it constitutes thread necromancy.))

Anyone ever seen the movie Falling Down?

Clearly the answer you're looking for is Michael Douglas.

A house cat.

Yet again I feel I must post the Doomkitty.

Hmm, I don't know that the Doomkitty really personifies rage though. Just hunger.

I would say trilloch from MM3 is best for Rage personification monster. It's an invisible monster that casts rage on people.

Umber Hulks are said to be in a near-constant state of rage, leaving a path of destruction in their wake.

Rampagers from MM II fit the bill pretty well.

Try stealing a bucket of rocks from a Dread Linnorm's lair.
