View Full Version : Are Black Dragonspawn immune to acid?

There's nothing that says they do, but it makes sense, otherwise would they be damaged by their own breath weapon?

In MM4 they do have the immunity, but no wings. So I am really unsure.

I think you don't do anything wrong if you grant them that immunity. :smallsmile:

None of the Dragonspawn varieties in the Dragonlance Campaign Setting get immunity to their energy type. However, keep in mind that everything is immune to damage from its own breath attack (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialAbilities.htm#breathWeapon), so if someone were to grapple a dragonspawn and it breathed through its own space, it would not take damage from its own breath. It would still take damage from the breath weapon of another dragonspawn of the same type.

I think these are the Spawn of Tiamat, which are actually different creatures.

So Whitespawn are better, because they get an immunity I guess...
