What sort of race would this guy be?

Aside from a satyr, what race could this guy be?
I was thinking I'd homebrew a race for him the simple way Just take an elf and remove the ability score adjustments, call him a woodkin.

How does changing them from outsider to humanoid make them weaker?

It means they can't access interesting monster outsiders via spells like Alter Self.

Plus it makes them vulnerable to various spells that affect humanoids but not outsiders.

Fauns in Deities & Demigods might cover the "sylvan, satyrlike, but weaker and with very small horns" category.

Also, unlike Narnia fauns, their lower half is more human, just hairy, not nearly as goatlike as satyrs.

It should be noted that Tieflings and Aasimars are really bad LA+1 choices, so a lesser Tiefling is actually about on par with human balance-wise.

Tieflings can span from having cute ear-like horns similar to elfenlied to weird ram-like horns from 4e and everything in-between, but primarily if you want horns and possibly the rare tail you are tiefling. THOUGH original tieflings have dark dusky skin colors like purple or blue or gray or pale brown.

Tieflings are essentially demonic humans or elves.

The deep skin tone, tail and satyr association you posted makes me think your character is more along the lines of either a homebrew variation of Bitey of Brackenwood or Diabolus which is a class from Dragon Compendium which is essentially the satyr cousin of the tiefling.
