Do you have to take quicken spell and then DMM, or when taking DMM do you apply the suffix [quicken], thereby only spending one feat? I assume that sentence makes sense...

Quicken, then DMM [Quicken].

This was changed in errata. You have to take the normal metamagic feat first, for a total of 2 feats spent on each one that you want to use DMM for.

The errata also amended that DMM only works on divine spells, in case you're thinking of playing a Mystic Theurge or a Dread Necro or something with non-divine casting.

The other half of the errata for DMM states that only turn UNDEAD attempts may be used. No elemental turning attempts or rebuke vermin attempts or turn plants attempts other such silliness.
