He flips open his large book and flips through it quickly, finally coming to rest on a page with thousands of hand-written notes, which appears to stretch space to be much larger (or is it smaller?) than it actually is. He smiles briefly, and turns back to the gargoyle.
I am applying for the position of Charms teacher, he says smothly. I do not know the password, and I request access to the Headmistress's rooms. If the Headmistress is not in her rooms, I request to know where she is.
