I just realized that I was holding Alchemist's Fire and my flail was sheathed. Does that make the charge illegal? Do I need to redo my turn?

Goltoth:Well, the charge and attack weren't illegal, since your unarmed strike was still available; just different numbers (and an AoO).

We can probably unspoiler this. Just roll the unarmed damage, the attack roll stands. Symbol can roll the badger's AoO.

yeah, kinda as unnecessary as spoilering a spell and posting spellcraft DC to identify it although it's painfully obvious which spell is cast. People still do it, don't know why

Assuming DR means damage resistance, I don't think it would reduce damage from an Alchemist's Fire, either directly or splash-wise. It's an energy attack, and all energy attacks, even nonmagical ones, are not impacted by damage reduction.

First, yes DR wouldn't help against alchemist's fire, but this landed 2 squares away so I'm pretty sure it was too far away. Second, neither the badger nor Symbol have reach, so they couldn't have attacked me. I'm not sure whether Symbol just loses his turn then, or what.

C14 to E14 is only one range increment, though, so it would still deal 1 splash damage. And yes, Symbol's attack is wasted. The badger would have stepped closer, though, since technically Symbol is only ordering it to attack rather than controlling it directly.

You mean the fire damage for the next turn? I've seen it both ways; you can roll it, or he can. Of course, there's no guarantee he'll take it, if he decides to roll around and makes the roll to extinguish the flames.

Random is the one who would take the 6 fire, which would be enough to take him down while Rahl is at 0 HP after Randoms last attack. We came very close to a bleed-off here...
