OOC: Yes and no. Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror will not negate its first effect to make it DARK since it's a continuous effect, but it will negate its second effect since it's a trigger effect. It also won't negate the third effect since that triggers in the Graveyard, where LaDD is only considered a LIGHT type.

The two Imprisoning Mirrors only affect effects that activate - Trigger and Ignition. Continuous effects do not activate (they are always active as long as they're on the field and stop being active the moment they're removed; this is also why you cannot chain to a continuous effect), so they are not negated. OOC: It is a piece of work when supported, but it has several weaknesses, like the one you tried to exploit. If it hadn't been for Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror, it would have worked, and if you hadn't activated SIM, I would have used my other Caius instead. I just got a lucky draw that gave me just what I needed.
