Hi

That's maybe a somewhat strange question, and not really sure it's the right place to ask, but does someone know where you can find a place where you can play D&D and other games on IRC, or maybe via voice chat or something?

D&D isn't very popular here, and the few that I know play it, I don't get along with.
I've tried play-by-post before, but it's just way to slow for me, to wait a day or two for everyone to post and the round being resolved. Not my thing.

So looking for something, thats still played over the net, but at a faster pace.
Doesn't have to be D&D only, can be other RPGs too.
And you don't have to know specific games, but if you could point me in the right direction where to find something like that, that would be enough (Yes, I did google, but didn't find anything. Well, sex-roleplay chats plenty, but no D&D :)

irc.darkmyst.org (port 6667)

Instructions (http://darkmyst.org/index.php?page=faq-connecting) for reference.

Their website (http://darkmyst.org/index.php) also has instructions for using the dice bots, etc. (I found I had to make a macro on MIRC for it, but it was very easy; now I can just type /roll XdY+-Z)

The Keep (http://www.nexxushost.com/thekeep/index.php) has a dice rolling system, public and private rooms, and profiles for characters. I've been using it for roleplay and D&D for a long while now.

GameSurge is .net, not .com. Otherwise, yeah, that's the unofficial GitP channel in which we host games and such.

I ran across this while looking for a rp chat website to run Paranoia on. I don't know if it will have the players you're looking for, but you can give it a shot. http://www.nexxushost.com/rpg/thekeep/index.php
