[Nexus](Private Plot) In search of a mother

This is the plot thread where Harry/Milly will be searching for their parents.
I believe Harry is headed to the police station?

That he is, at a rather fast walk. He'll go up to whomever is at a desk, plowing through any line that there is if there is one.

I would like some help, like right now. It'll be quick. Information if you will.

He sighs.

the olde,r fat man behind the desk asks.

I would like to know about what you had on mobs or certain gangs from about 15-16 years ago. Not gangs that wear their pants down to their ankles, the ones that are all buisness with Tommy guns and fancy fedoras. Those kinds. I would like names, locations, maybe names. I need to speak with a certain one of them.

they're the only two big ones left.
All the rest are gone, but I could always give you files on the old ones.

I would... Really appreciate that. Especially if they had some of their own... Like what loans they sent out or money management in general...

Well... Yes ah... A murder, a possible murder. Again, 15-16 years ago. A Cat girl, one of the mobs was responsible.

She was poor, not much money... Last name Mason, I'm not sure about age, twenties I think, maybe early twenties or mid during that time. Her hair was blond, usually tied back in a bun or something like that.

He looks for a bit. The frowns and turns the screen around. On it us a missing poster with her picture.
Is this her?

If it is indeed her he nods silently, looking at the poster on the computer.

He prints out a copy of it and hands it to him.
Then reads off the computer.
Says she has ties to the... The Mortaries. It also says she has..
Two missing children...He turns the screen around, another missing poster, this one with a picture of him and Milly on it, still young.

Mortaries? Where can I find them?

Those children would probably be wanted as well since Harry would have stolen for a living. D:

They are wanted, just don't have a name to the face.
They're all over the city.
Like to hang out at the lucky Dagger Pub.
But don't go there, you'll end up getting hurt...

He'll fold up the wanted poster and put it in his pocket.

As he walks out the door, he might find himself blinded by a flash bang, then tackled.

[Volug]

In front of a police station...? Huh XD

He'll be blinded, yelling out, and tackled with an UMPH. Once he's on the ground, he'll start to cast a spell that will turn his hand to fire and burn whoever is on top of him. Unless they manage to smack his head and knock him out.

He rubs his eyes with one hand and reaches into his pocket with another to pull out the folded missing poster...

He slowly stands, sight coming back.
In case you couldn't tell, that was mother right before she apparently went missing.

No. You should go back to the inn, I need to go to a pub and it'll be dangerous.

He starts walking towards the Pub.
Keep quiet then.

She nods and follows!

When he gets there he'll quickly open the door and look around, specifically those who appear older.

There's an older looking dwarf sitting at a table with other people.
they're drinking.

Harry will grab a chair and sit at the table the dwarf is at regardless of what they say.
Hello chaps, do I need to buy you another drink first or can I get right down to business with you all?

I don't... I don't want you or any of your "buddies" to do anything to her again. She went missing once your gang here tried to collect some loan money off of her 15, 16 years ago. I want to know what you did to here, and where she is now if she's not dead.

He'll pick up the picture and turn to leave... If nothing happens, will go straight downtown and look for that "office" he spoke of.

Alternativly, maybe they can get captured themselves? It seems a lot of cat people are sold as slaves anyway... Maybe they can meet their mother n the process and escape? Just an idea if you had none. Otherwise let's go with yours.

Also, the fallout thing, when will it start? Solo plot or anyone else?

He'll go up with the guard, slightly irritated.

He'll lead them into an empty room...
Then, Harry might feel a sharp pain in the back of his head, and he'll probasbly be knocked out.

He'll grunt as he's hit and slowly lose consciousness...

[Quinsar]

As he's slowly passigmn out, he'll see Milly fighting with the guard...
Then he'll pass out.
He'll wake up in the back of a large truck. A semi. He's in one of those huge freight containers.
Bumpy.

[Volug]

He'll groan and hold his head. If it's dark, he'll try to cast a light spell. To look around and see what else he has.

[Quinsar]

He's in a very skimpy pair of shorts, and a collar.
Milly is next to him, in a bikini and a collar.
She's been beaten to a bloody pulp.
Covered in bruises, and she's bleeding a lot.
Still KO.

[Volug]

He hates collars, he'll try to rip it off and will see Milly.

What have they done... Dang it all...

He'll kneel down next to her... He doesn't have anything to stop bleeding and has no healing magic. He could try to sear or burn the wound shut but that's too risky with a high failure rate since he doesn't have a metal rod and will probably only work on gashes.

The collar wll shock him when he tries to pull it off.

He'll yelp when it does, he's somewhat scared now. He'll make the light brighter in his hands.

when he tries to brighten the light...

Uh oh. the collar is stopping higher levels of magic...

He swears loudly, the light will fade to a very weak level now.
This is...! Mily... It's okay, I managed to keep us both alive when you were about a month or so old and I was three and it's been like that for 16 years. We can live through this.

If it makes her feel better he'll hold her close and sit down next to her.

She snuggles against him.
The truck seems to stop...

He'll completely shut off the light and keep quite.

He tries to listen to what's going on outside the truck.

He'll hold a hand to her mouth and listen some more.

He'll listen, staying still, trying to comfort Milly too.

The loading door on the freight begins to open.

[Volug]

He tries to make a small flame in his hand... If no shock he goes towards the door.

There's a shock.

He yelps again, louder. He is glaring as he goes to help Milly up and get her out of the truck.

They're in front of a huuuuuuuge ,amsion.
The guard shepherds them towards a man standing out front...

[Volug]

Harry continues to look bitter. He'll help his sister move forward towards the man.

[Quinsar]

The man smiles.

[Volug]

Collection? I'm not for sale, especially not a collectors item.

He'll stumble as he's shocked.

Chances are he's going to break before that though, he isn't terribly strong, even magic wise. He's good at slipping out of things though not the collar...

He falls down as he's shocked again, gasping... He slowly gets up and follows the man.

They enter into a huge mansion, there are...

He blinks as he stares at everything in the mansion.

He shakes his head, if his mother was taken here and... His temper is rising. Magic may insticivly follow as he tries to light his fists into flames again, highest level he can manage.

This one will probably knock him out.

He'll yell out in pain, collapsing. His vision goes hazy, he's barely conscious.

He'll see his sister get dragged off, then another shock...

He'll pass out now. For awhile maybe until waked.

He'll feel a cool cloth placed on his head....

[Volug]

he tries moving his arms to move the cloth away. Or whatever it is.

[Quinsar]

Somone replaces it.
Keep it. It will bring down your fever.

I ain't sick, I'm getting out of here with my sister... And my mom... She's here, she has to be.

Standing over him is a thin, cat woman. his hair is gray and her eyes are cold. She's scarred, and there's no sign of any happiness on her face.

He tries to sit up, his head spins.

Harry Mason... I'm getting that man killed and liberating this mansion of it's slaves. That...

He sits up again ignoring the dizzy-nes.

He stumbles as he is hugged, his vision spirals and slowly hugs back.

She nods and keeps hugging.

He will hug back tight as well... His dizzyness going away.

He took my sister somewhere. He took her.

She whimpers, and runs from the room...

[Volug]

Mother! Talk to me! Or I'm just going after him!

He'd go after him anyways.

She seems to be running in the directions of the bedrooms.

[Volug]

He'll keep running after her, adrenaline helping him out quite a bit.

He'll get there a bit after her.



Milly is nude crying in the corner, and Helen is fighting with the slave owner.
The slaveowner is winning...

[Volug]

He goes to punch the owner in the face, hard. He's angry, it's a stronger punch then it would normally be.

[Quinsar]

It knocks the owner out.
Helen has been choked, and stabbed more than once n the fight...

[Volug]

He throws the owner in the corner, rushing towards Helen.
I pray to whatever god we believe in that you can walk still Milly.

Harry will examine Helen's wounds, how severe they are... Whatever that's relevant.

[Quinsar]

Milly shakily stands...






Petty severe, to the chest.

[Volug]

Mother... This will hurt, it's for the best. I will not, not lose you again.

He throws Helen something to bite on.

Milly, in case this doesn't work find some first aid kit anywhere. Quickly, please. This is your mother, and she needs your help.

Harry grabs his color with his left hand and tries to burn it off. He'll suck the pain in his left arm instead of his head.

[Quinsar]

It burns off, but 3will shock him alon g the way...


Milly ignores him, and begins to beat the man to death.

[Volug]

His arm is in pain.

YOUR MOTHER IS DYING MILLY!!

As the color burns off his left arm goes limp to his side, he's breathing hard. He tries to find and pick up the knife the guy was using.

You ready mother? Hold still, please, as still as you can.

[Quinsar]

Milly kills the man and begins to cry.



Helen nods.

[Volug]

His left arm hangs limp.

Hold as still as you can and bite down on that bit to help.

He heats the knife in his hand, it will glow red. Very hot... He tries to burn/sear her wounds closed to stop the bleeding.

[Quinsar]

She nods.
And it works!
Sort of. It's not a clean job, and probably ver, very painful for Helen, but it closes the wounds...

[Volug]

And it'll scar most likely, and they can re-open if they are not carefull...

It's over... Let me help you up, becareful.

He thorws the knife away and gives her his right hand to help her up

Milly is crying into her knees.

Harry will first try to get his mother on a chair.
Be careful so those don't open up again... Please.

Harry will go get Milly, hugging her and trying to help her up towards her mom.

Harry watches... His left arm still limp, it's burnt up... He goes to sit down feeling lightheaded and sick again.

After comforting her daughter, Helen walks over to Harry.

He's tearing up a bit now.
