I guess Herr Verfolger doesn't have many choices after your readied action.
Just the first attack takes place although misses and Verfolger stays in M14.

Yep. Although you're not out yet; pretty much anything Charm Person can do that would cause you to lose will require a Charisma check. Not that your odds of succeeding in that are great, but they're better than nothing.

It's only charisma checks if the order goes against your nature. Putting away weaponry to talk generally wouldn't be.

Leaving the arena, conceding the match, or something like that would be against a gladiator's nature, definately.

That puts you as leaving the bounds of the arena, and losing.

Your concept is solid. If you'd activated your Travel Devotion one round earlier, you'd have forced me to use terrain and ready actions to get a charm off... and you could have very well killed me before I got it.

The mobile skirmisher concept is nice, though!
