In this world I made for my first time DMing one of my friend's asked if it was ok for him to create a Bender classes like from the tv show avatar (my knowledge of this show consists of the last 2 episodes of season 3 >.>)

For my first campaign I asked him to play a Water Bender so we might test out its healing capabilities. I've made a few minor changes to the class and wanted your feed back on whether you think I finally have it balanced or not:

I would suggest using this site as a guideline.

Avatar,last air bender d20 system (http://sites.google.com/site/avatard20/)

I've used them before and the rules really do work, both for balance and for trueness to the cartoon. It includes rules for all four of the elementalbender classes, though I would suggest version 2.0 as the better one.

I have to agree, you should really look at the Avatar D20 stuff. Especially as you also go with a bending skill; even if you won't use the other system, you can check your DCs against theirs, and perhaps adopt either the Seed system or some of the tricks they have there.

I really like the format you have in there, and some of your ideas are very nice. I most like the ability to change damage type from bludgeoning to slashing or piercing, that fit the show very well.
